Rock Solid

Heavy Duty, tons of room to work, tool less fans, lots of places for fans to keep things cool, hot plug HDD cage available. Fold back feet on bottom of case very sturdy. Even Plastic front door very sturdy ; Documentation is very easy to read - go to...

Very big, and very heavy - if you feel that is a con. Pretty sure this thing could survive a small blast. You will need a sturdy place to mount this thing, i.e. the floor, or a very sturdy, reinforced shelf ; Drive cage doesn't leave a lot of room...

Good Case

Chuck both fans, they are server fans that move a lot of air but are way too loud. The green plastic cage around the rear fan accepts any 120mm fan and also serves to isolate noise. The hard drive cage fan is imbedded into the front of the cage. Simply...

I turned this case into a dedicated silent home theater case. Home theater in a sever case? Yes! The case is large, solidly built with more interior room for air flow. It is also wide, allow plenty or space for any fancy large CPU cooler or fan-less...

No front firewire or audio, but I did not need that

What more cases should be like

The rear 120mm (x 25mm) fan is a Delta AFB1212SH, rated at 113.1 CFM and 46.5 dB. The 92mm (x 25mm) fan is a Sunon KD1209PTB2, rated at 46 CFM and 33 dB with a slight whine to it. I replaced both with 38mm wide 3-blade deltas. Yes, a 38mm fan will fit...

Big, black and beautiful. The case has an abundance of teal plastic amenities if you want them. It also has solid construction that will permit substantial modification if one is so inclined. There is a snug slot designed for another 92mm fan below in...

The silver swinging faceplate completely blocks the HDD cage fan's intake and it is difficult to remove the faceplate without breaking its plastic hinges. Supplied fans aren't ideal. Neither are the fan grilles stamped out of the cases. Fortunately,...

I AM REVIEWING THIS CASE>>>

i like room, function, airflow and adaptability.

it says its "EEB" compatible, as far as motherboards go.

I AM REVIEWING THIS CASE>>>

i am not building a server, but a workstation/ gamer. Processing audio and such, the machine is never going to move, so i want a big functional death-star of a machine that moves more air than an ac unit. thanks for the info... in advance.

i like room, function, airflow and adaptability. i don't need an alien hood ornament or tachyometers, and thats why im looking at server cases.

it says its ""EEB"" compatible, as far as motherboards go... IM using an ATX full board, and im wondering if any of the hardware will line up... ANYONE KNOW?

Great case overall!

A power user/builder's dream! The guy below me pretty much summed everything up.

The case is a lovely behemoth wrapped in thick black steel. The anti-vibration pads for the hard drives are a nice touch, as is the front fan for them. You can upgrade to a hot swap SATA or PATA setup. 2 front 90mm fans capable, 120mm back fan...

VERY Heavy! Coming from an aluminum case this thing is a giant. The back fan IS loud, but don't let that deter you. Put it at 5v or get a fan controller. I have an interior one, set and leave. The front door is a little flimsy.

At last, it's on newegg.

I used to build computers, and it was always a joy to work on these. My small add-ons: I added another 80mm fan on the bottom front compartment (you put the green clips on the edges, and it slides right in), and put all three fans on a decreased...

A serious workstation or entry-level server case without the frills. And a brushed aluminum cover to boot. Excellent airflow with supplied fans. Case ""feet"" swivel from under the case to out 90 degrees (as in the pictures) and pop into place for a...

Exhaust fan is loud! Don't stick your fingers in it either... it's got some serious inertia with the heavy core (yep, it's drawn blood). The plastic latch on the front can easily snap off. It's big and black. not for little desks and m-soft Word users :)
