Why such awful reviews?! This is an excellent AIO.

I signed up for CNET just to write a review for this All-In-One printer. I don't have any idea why it is receiving such bad reviews! I bought mine about 2 years ago. I have it plugged into a router and have access to ALL its functions through my PC and...

Networking ability, print quality, interface & ability to work with Mac and PC, excellent scanning capabilities, fax abilities and ability to fax directly from Mac or PC, browser-based control panel, stability, small footprint, document feeder, more

Nothing. Over 21 years in business, this is the best All-In-One (AIO) I have ever owned

Complete piece of junk - do not buy

Don't buy this machine. Save your money and get a non-HP printer. I own many HP products and I like most of them. I have always held HP in high regard in the printing an dimaging market. The HP 3390 has done a lot to tarnish that repuation.

Works stand alone OK

Not all functionality is available through the Ethernet. HPToolBoxFX crashes regularly. Repairing involves 20+ steps to remove dirs, registry values, etc. and re-installing a 400MB d/l. Then, the HPToolBoxFX software breaks again

None at all

Hardware flaws - scanner - and terrible software

Very good well-rounded machine.

I am a graduate student working as a private investigator and contract paralegal. I generally work out of my home, and I wanted a well rounded machine that could copy, fax, scan and print, plus work in a PC and Mac environment, network and not loose...

Ease of use

Takes a minute or so to warm up

Warning do not buy this. Significant hardware and software flaws

We bought the initial one which worked OK for a short while then began to jam and multifeed, multi send, buttons are insensitive and unsuspecting often get double numbers. We bought a second to get the PCL5e and PCL6 compatability; it isnt. There is a...
