UPS wouldn't charge

I normally use APC, Tripp, or Belkin UPS's, but the store I mail-ordered from didn't have any of these mfr's with the power I needed for my new computer and peripherals, so I went with CyberPower 1285va through Staples, which was the least expensive...

Very elaborate front panel display (maybe unnecessarily so for the casual user)

Didn't work! Battery wouldn't charge; eventually drained completely. Useless

Great Unit, Great Price

I bought this unit at BestBuy as it was onsale and I needed a second UPS for battery back for my new computer equipment.

Solid Unit that is price competitive

All eight outlets are not battery backed up like a Belkin UPS

Excellent choice for a home office.

Today my home office lost power twice within a 40-minute interval and twice my brand new APC UPS immediately shut down my components. Twice I had to power cycle my modem, network storage and then spent precious time recovering several documents. Enough...

Well built, excellent software and interface. Plenty of backup power for an average PC

I would prefer a clear plastic shield for the unit's power button
