Don't listen to Shonuff

Shonuff is just upset that he can't have a nice rig like this one. He is giving a bad name to this fine product and is a prick.

Awesome quality ; Awesome performance ; Great application performance

Video card on the weaker side of the spectrum

An awesome Gaming PC all ready to go!

It was time to buy a new PC (my last one was getting too old), and I wanted a gaming PC, so PC gamers were telling me to build my own. My knowledge of PCs only goes so far, and the Alienware computers always caught my eye, so I decided instead of...

Good bang for the buck with the discount...

Alienware is known for being over priced but with the Amazon discount I was very happy, several hundred $ cheaper than at NewEgg! Came in a massive box-in-a-box so well protected in shipping, and very solidly put together.

build it yourself

There must be a kid in your neighborhood who can knock about 40% off this, and that includes giving him a benjamin to build it. Beyond that, you won't get unknown-brand parts inside (mobo? ram? psu?).

I don't own this but I feel obligated to comment. This computer is selling for about twice as much as you could build it yourself. The power supply is far more than you would ever need with this rig, even if you added another gfx card. I think that's...

It's funny how about 10 years ago, all types of computers could be built for cheaper than sold. Alienware was competitive, too. Now, unless you're a gamer, most casual users can buy a pre-built computer for what they need, but gaming rigs are still...
