Dell XPS 210

Dell's entry-level XPS gets the Core 2 Duo upgrade—and a price hike—to become the XPS 210.

Small. Quiet. XPS priority support line. Included 15-month Internet security subscription. Upgradable. Large hard drive. Core 2 Duo-equipped.

Ugly IR remote receiver. Not quite as tiny as other mini PC desktops. Significantly more expensive than its predecessor.

Hawaii review

Since the product is fairly new, less than a month since we ordered it, we'll see how reliable the machine is. We have an older Dell machine and I use one at work and have been extremely pleased with the brand and will continue to purchase Dell...

Our family loves the response of the new XPS210. The jury is still out on the Windows Vista. We'll see how that works out.

The Trend Micro anti-virus software that was ordered with it was not compatible but we were able to download an update and it appears to be working fine now.

I love this computer so far, it's fast and it only takes up half the space that my last set-up did.

After some adjustments made with vista and my security settings, everything runs smooth. I love it!! Vista is NOT a big bad bear, its great , it just takes some learning if you're willing to learn. NOTHING I can really say as negative on this system....

Good things come in small packages

The tower surprised me being so small....but it sure packs a punch. This is my 7th computer in 20 years and my first DELL I love it. The speed everything is great so far. I believe it will live up to its name. DELL says it all.

Small is not necessarily better

All things considered, good value. Dell support, up to now, has been excellent. I called twice, and a competent technician answered promptly and was helpful. The drop-down menus that allow one to provide specs do not allow for all options, e.g.,...

1. Because of its relatively small size, you can set this unit on a desk, horizontally or vertically.

1. The small case will not accommodate a second hard drive, nor a zip drive--neither space nor cables.

GREAT SYSTEM

Great idea the Dell offered XP in Place of Vista. I didn't have the funds to replace both desk tops and both laptops with Vista so it was GREAT that I could replace the one that went down with another XP system! GOOD GOING DELL!!!! A+++

This system is a great item and replaced another Dell product. Super fast with the options I purchased.

Nothing bad to say about the item. ALL GOOD!
