Dell Optiplex GX620 MT

Dell's Optiplex PCs are a common sight on the desks of corporate users across the country and around the world. I recently looked at the Dell Optiplex GX620 ($1,535 direct, $1,247 without monitor), evaluating it from the perspective of the...

Quiet. Available in different form factors. Dual-core processor. Dual monitor support. Support for growing businesses

Dongle required for monitor connectivity (even single monitor). Choices (form factors, processors, and the like) can be daunting to the home office user

Spanning a wide range of processors, cases, and service options, Dell's Optiplex GX620 provides plenty of flexibility—and speed—for small-business owners.

Dell OptiPlex GX620 Review

A speedy, space-saving office PC with excellent 17-inch LCD monitor, Small-form-factor design a nice compromise between ultra-small and larger desktop models

Price climbs sharply with faster CPUs; small selection of low-profile PCI and PCIe x16 cards

At the front of the case, you'll find headphone and microphone jacks and two USB 2.0 ports. Around the back are six more USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, parallel, serial, integrated VGA, and audio-in, -out, and microphone ports, plus the DVI and S-Video...

Available in four chassis designs ; Competitively priced ; Wide variety of CPU choices, including 64-bit

Mediocre performance ; Limited upgrades in some areas ; No option for a media-card reader

Dell - OptiPlex GX620

Dell's OptiPlex range of desktops has been the mainstay of the company's business and corporate PC operation for many years, constantly being updated to bring the latest technologies to the end user. The latest addition to ...

The OptiPlex GX620 system offers bang up-to-date technology without the usual clutter of extras, and is a perfect addition to Dell's well respected line up of business systems.

it works but not great

It is OK as it is for my backup pc to download something. I have a gaming PC with i7 4700MQ cpu. But if you just need an affordable pc for infrequent use and its price indeed reflect that fact, it is OK for me.

It works including the Win 7. Everything looks fine. I purchase it at $75 after rebate. You can't expect more at this price

It should be called pre-owned rather than refurbished. I had expected it would look new at least from appearance. I am totally wrong. From every aspect, I can tell it has been used for quite a while (scratches, dirty, etc.). So my guess is that the...

Good value

Hard drive is small by today's standards, but this is a 7-8 yr. old computer. Will upgrade drive and memory and this will be a great back up computer.

very pleased for the price

As with other buyer, DVD didn't work, but going into the Setup, found that it was found to be 'OFF', switched to "ON' and was good to go

Refirbished PC

Good computer and easy to set up

Previous review noted that the CD was non-functional but $20 fixed that. One of the main reason I purchased that computer was that it came with WIN7. I turned it on this weekend and found that it was a temporary license. I was required to purchase WIN7...
