Dell Optiplex GX620 MT

Dell's Optiplex PCs are a common sight on the desks of corporate users across the country and around the world. I recently looked at the Dell Optiplex GX620 ($1,535 direct, $1,247 without monitor), evaluating it from the perspective of the...

Quiet. Available in different form factors. Dual-core processor. Dual monitor support. Support for growing businesses

Dongle required for monitor connectivity (even single monitor). Choices (form factors, processors, and the like) can be daunting to the home office user

Spanning a wide range of processors, cases, and service options, Dell's Optiplex GX620 provides plenty of flexibility—and speed—for small-business owners.

Good computer and easy to set up

Previous review noted that the CD was non-functional but $20 fixed that. One of the main reason I purchased that computer was that it came with WIN7. I turned it on this weekend and found that it was a temporary license. I was required to purchase WIN7...

Single-core Goodness

If you need a PC for basic computer tasks, not doing several things at once, this is a very inexpensive option.

Low cost ; Durable single-core cpu

Pentium 4 cpu @3.0GHz has fairly high power consumption, and runs hotter than current generation dual-cores

Refirb PC

Not a bad experience considering a refirb. If all goes well from here it was a good purchase. I was origionally looking for a WIN7 program when my PC died and this came with WIN7 for the price of WIN7. I think that's a win!

The computer is running well and was easy to set up

The computer came with a broken CD ROM and a dead battery on the motherboard. I just purchased a R/W CD to replace the broken one in the unit (cheap-$20. quicker & easier than getting one sent) and NewEgg send a replacement battery
