Dell Inspiron 546 (i546-4354NBK)

The Dell Inspiron 546 (i546-4354nbk) ($600 list) is Dell's AMD-powered, entry-level desktop PC-in-a-box. This model, only available at Staples, is aimed at consumers who want an easy way to purchase a Dell as their second, third, or fourth PC for the...

Dual core plus 20-inch monitor for $600. Very little bloatware. 640GB hard drive. Integrated graphics are HD-capable and can perform (very) light 3D. Expandable. HDMI port

Monitor less than 1080p. Monitor doesn't have built in speakers. McAfee Internet Security subscription only 30 days

The Dell Inspiron i546-4354nbk is a decent second or third PC for the home. It's a solid entry-level desktop with monitor combo at an entry-level price, and sometimes that's all you need.

Pretty good deal but wish i had gone with a better graphics card

Runs nice and fast, fully upgradable, and was able to get most of what i wanted installed at the factory. Fans are pretty quiet, but disc drive gets loud when CDs are loaded. Shipped and arrived 10 days before it was scheduled.

I love my new Dell Inspiron 546.

I just brought my first new computer after my 14 year one couldn't process any more data. It took me awhile to research and think about what wanted beyond 4GB and a fast processor. Price was also an important factor ( under $1000). Asking others for...

Good AMD option

I bought this with the lowly Sempron 1300-LE, which I upgraded to a newer triple core Phenom II X3 710. The board was compatible with the AM3 chip right out of the box. I was happy about that. It doesn't come with as much software as other retail...
