"Long Term: A quality & affodable mainstream desktop."

I have had this Dell Inspiron 530MT desktop f...

A sturdy exterior with a clean, simple and streamlined design, decent air flow, quick CPU, quick RAM, quick HDD, quick CD-Rom drive, a built-in wi-fi option (new in 2007, standard in 2010) is a plus when you are tasking far from the router

It runs awful with Windows Vista and interior is easy to catch tons of dust. Nothing bad if you upgrade to Windows 7

Love it!

"Got the CPU, 19" flat screen monitor and Canon Pixma printer for $599 - great deal! Easy to set up, a cinch to use. Fans do run loud for about 3 seconds on start up, but tech guy at work said that's a good sign that fans are revving as needed for best...

No Chance for an upgrade

"Unless you are only reading e-mail and surfing the Internet, I would not purchase this PC. The OS is Vista 64-bit, so plan on tracking down drivers for anything that you plan to attach to the PC. This PC also comes with a very poor video card. In...

Really sweet for a week or so.

"I thought I loved this PC, and I did for the first week. On the 8th day, it died on me. lol. That kinda sucks. Now I have to send it off for (so they say) 2 or 3 weeks. I think if it dies that quickly, Best Buy should just give you a new one. Anyway,...

Fast, 6G RAM, huge HD.

It died on the 8th day.

Great Computer

"We have used this computer for mainly surfing the web and sending and receiving e-mail, and it works great! We are running McAfee Internet Security Suite on ours, and so far so good. Thinking of picking up another."
