Overall, Dell Inspiron 660 serves as a true value for money with its state of art technology compressed in a space saving design , so that one can perform routine computing with smart connecting features .

As advertised - A basic PC

Build quality is OK. Reminds me of the Vostro line. Basic design with a flimsy plastic facade. You will also want to purchase a 16GB USB thumb drive to use to create the "restore disk". No using DVDs anymore (?). I suggest using the Windows restore...

First Celeron PC I have used since the 300a (remember that one? If you don't... Get off my lawn!) Adequately powered for basic tasks. This is a parent PC and is perfectly suited for the task ; Comes with a keyboard and mouse, though they are pretty cheap

As already mentioned expect to uninstall a fair amount of bloatware. Not as bad as other machines I've set up and it was all easy to uninstall. I haven't seen any nagging popups as mentioned by the other reviewer though I uninstalled *everything* that...

Good Deal for Beginners

After four months, this desktop is still going strong. It handles everything from writing reports to watching movies and playing games. I left it on for 2 weeks and it hasn't even slowed down once. I recommend upgrading your keyboard and mouse as the...

Affordable. It is everything you need to get started without having to buy things separately. Comes with a nice 23" LED screen and speakers. Plenty of front and back USB ports for my daily needs. The tower is small and light enough to not take up space

The keyboard and mouse are not very flexible. I keep hitting the sleep button on keyboard. The mouse doesn't have a long enough cord that would allow some distance from the tower ; After the Windows 8.1 update, I had to downgrade my OS to Windows 7

Solid small machine

This machine has been exactly what I wanted, a small silent well performing media pc. The only problem I have is that the Intel video does not support hd audio through hdmi. This is a pain and causes XBMC to not function correctly. If you wont to use...

Small form factor, appealing case design. Low energy, silent operation

The built in Intel HD video does not pass HD audio through the hdmi port

Nice slim system with an attractive price -- thanks Newegg

I just purchased it after my XPS 420 (may have) died on me, and decided to get one. Originally I was planning on creating my own system. Anyway, setup was a breeze, and everything's included. I love the fact that I can upgrade to a higher GHz processor...

Easy to set up, compact, and faster set up

None... as of yet

Small, inexpensive, but saddled with Win 8

It's a small, relatively fast machine. If you need an inexpensive machine and can't wait for a slickdeal to roll around, this is a great choice

Machine would not activate Windows 8 over the internet. I had to do a phone activation to get it to work, which is rather annoying. Windows 8 itself is a con... I would have much preferred Windows 7 on there. This was my first experience with Windows...

Dell 660s

No 8-in-1 Media Card Reader...said it should have one! Missing DVI port? Very fast boot/shutdown time, whisper quiet! Needed a PC for photos this is the ticket. UPS delivery would have made me happier.
