Dell Inspiron One 23 review

The best all-in-one currently available is Dell's XPS One 27. Big, beautiful, powerful and packing a high-res display, the XPS One 27 has twice received four and a half stars from us, and earned an Editor's Choice in its most recent review. Few...

Attractive design ; Supports HDMI-out and HDMI-in ; Fast, well-rounded performance

Low-contrast display ; Poor audio quality ; System fan is annoying at load ; Expensive for a 23-inch AIO ; Affordable models lose performance advantage

Dell’s revised Inspiron 23 offers strong performance in its most expensive configuration, but it’s hard to see why anyone would buy it instead of the XPS One 27.

Dell Inspiron One 23 ( Core i5, November 2012)

Similar to the Toshiba LX835 I reviewed last week, the Dell's Inspiron One 2330 offers a mainstream entry point for PC buyers interested in Windows 8 . Unlike the Toshiba system and its higher-end silicon, this Dell is almost entirely pedestrian in...

The Dell Inspiron One 2330 has a reasonably attractive design, and a surprisingly broad selection of video and audio connectivity options.

Aside from the AV inputs and its not-unattractive looks, nothing about this mainstream PC really stands out.

Dell's workmanlike Inspiron One 2330 won't change your life, but it will meet all of your basic mainstream desktop needs while also providing a few useful extras.

Dell Inspiron One 23

The Dell Inspiron One 23 is an adequate all-in-one desktop PC; what sets it apart is an extraordinary set of input ports. If you have a need for composite AV in and VGA in on a touch screen all-in-one desktop, the Inspiron One 23 should be on the top...

10-finger touch screen. 1080p HD screen. 15-month McAfee protection. WiDi compatible. Clean desktop mode. Plethora of inputs: HDMI-in, VGA-in/out, Composite AV video in

No Blu-ray. Needs height adjustment. Duller colors on monitor. USB 3.0 ports aren't blue. Weak integrated graphics

If you have a need for composite AV in and VGA in on a touch screen all-in-one desktop, the Inspiron One 23 should be on the top of the list. If you don't need this admittedly specialized set of inputs, then there are other more attractive AIO PC...

Dell Inspiron One 23 review

The Dell Inspiron One 23 boasts powerful innards and handy inputs for hooking up your games console. Sadly it's let down by a very disappointing screen that doesn't justify the fairly high price.

Decent performance ; Multiple inputs for media players and games consoles ; Responsive touchscreen

Disappointing display ; Not particularly attractive ; Unimpressive games performance

The Dell Inspiron One 23 holds a decent amount of power for everyday family computing but it's not attractive enough to take pride of place in a living room. With its games console inputs, it could be a good option for a student's digs, but it's let...

Fantastic middle-tier desktop.

We've been using this for over 6 months now, so I can safely say that we've been happy with the purchase. Dell made a great all-in-one desktop here, anchored by a sharp and responsive touch screen. The i3 with 6GB of RAM is plenty fast for everyday use.
