Dell Inspiron One 2330 review: Dell's steady, mostly predictable all-in-one

Similar to the Toshiba LX835 I reviewed last week, the Dell's Inspiron One 2330 offers a mainstream entry point for PC buyers interested in Windows 8 . Unlike the Toshiba system and its higher-end silicon, this Dell is almost entirely pedestrian in...

The Dell Inspiron One 2330 has a reasonably attractive design, and a surprisingly broad selection of video and audio connectivity options.

Aside from the AV inputs and its not-unattractive looks, nothing about this mainstream PC really stands out.

Dell's workmanlike Inspiron One 2330 won't change your life, but it will meet all of your basic mainstream desktop needs while also providing a few useful extras.

Inspiron One 2330

Dell's entry-level all-in-one PC is good value compared to the Apple iMac. You're locked into four pre-built setups when buying, though, and features like Blu-ray are restricted to the more expensive models.

Solid construction, simple design Good value compared to iMac

No customisation when purchasing No swivel or height adjustment on stand Only premium models have discrete graphics, Blu-ray

Dell Inspiron One 2330 all-in-one PC

Dell's newest all-in-one PC continues to challenge Apple on design, and beat it on price

Solid construction, simple design ; Good value compared to iMac

No customisation when purchasing ; No swivel or height adjustment on stand ; Only premium models have discrete graphics, Blu-ray

The Dell Inspiron One 2330 is an uncomplicated, unpretentious all-in-one PC — it’s got a solid design, adequately powerful components, and features (like touch) that might come in handy in the future. It’s hard to see it as great value when the Medion...

Dell Inspiron One 2330

It's a good looking all-in-one PC with strong specs, but how does it perform?

Attractive curved design, Blu-ray included, Well integrated touch features

Shimmering screen, Poor gaming performance for the price

Dell Inspirion with Windows 8

all in one is nice

the system quickly became unusable - not sure why, but the system initiated an automatic windows update that resulted in an unresolvable error message - scoured thru microsoft repair sites, exercising all the suggested options from the MS engineers....
