Dell OptiPlex 760 small form factor PC

Dell's OptiPlex 760 is a small form factor desktop PC aimed at business users. It has limited expansion options but won't take up too much desk space....

eSATA, DisplayPort, quad-core CPU options

Tricky to replace some components

Dell's OptiPlex 760 desktop PC provides plenty of power but lacks the ease of maintenance that other small form factor PCs offer. Better graphics options would improve its performance.

DOA

Contacted newegg for an RMA to get an exchange. I was promised two day return shipping. Six days after it was received by newegg they changed the RMA to refund because the item was sold out. When I bought another item to replace it they would only give...

Good specs for the price

Windows would start but never finish loading

great little workstation

I've bought about 10 of these to use as servers for Aloha and every one of them has come to me in great condition with just minor cosmetic damage that you would expect in a refurbished PC. All have come very well packed as to not incur damage in shipping.

Specs are perfect for our application (Aloha Point of Sale)

Good PC, Bad packaging

The case on this one is huge! I havnt seen this tall or wide of a case in years. Tons of room for expansion! Note that to add a hard drive, you will need a right angle SATA cable.

For the price, this is an awesome deal! This blows away my old dual core Vista PC. Has all the legacy ports if you need them. Lots of usb ports - 6 in back and 4 in front

The packaging left a lot to be desired. Plain cardboard box with two foam pieces to hold it in place. The box looked like it had been tossed around a bit, so when I first plugged it in it was giving a post error and would not boot. I opened the case...

Good internet PC

Two of the rubber feet are missing but it's on its side anyway. Could have caused a problem If I planned to stand it up. Comes with two gigs of ram and I added two more. It's a 32bit system so with 4G of RAM only 3.21G will be useable. The DVD player...

Good PC for my elderly neighbor who just checks e-mail and is new to Facebook. Very clean inside and out

No OS disc. Doesn't come loaded with Microsoft Office but for the price you wouldn't expect it anyway. About every fifteen minutes (when I had it) the power and fan came on for about two seconds and shut off. Not sure what that's about but it doesn't...

Nice for price but beware

Just what I needed to replace an old Dell running XP I use to run a CNC plasma table, no more overheating P4 CPU - yea. Slapped 2G more RAM in & turned it on expecting it to self install from the hard drive since it came with no disk or documentation...

Great deal when on sale for $154 ; Clean refurb ; Solid Dell design

No OS disk ; No system speaker

DELL 760

I'm very pleased with this purchase. We needed a computer for home and it didn't need to be anything more than a basic model. I hesitated buying refurbished. However, for the price, the quality is great and it seems to be working great. I purchased...

Price is excellent. Quality of refurbish seems good. Appearance is lightly used. System is fast

Cheap mouse/keyboard. Had to upgrade Intel graphic driver for Windows 7
