Dell's tiny new PC aims to make a big splash in corporate computing. While it's petite, it doesn't lack punch.

Tiny footprint allows for tucking away almost anywhere; chassis detects and reports intrusion; runs quietly; rich set of centralized management tools; three-year onsite warranty

Costs more and runs slower than a standard business desktop; no PCI expansion slots; not for gaming, multimedia or graphics-intensive use

Taking the small-footprint desktop to its logical extreme, the Dell OptiPlex SX260 is a study in compactness that should fit most space-short offices, but doesn't ignore centralized management issues.
