The Little (Powerful) Machine That Can

Ah, the technology refresh. Every three or four years or so, my household PC's go through one of these. In my wife's case we replaced and older Dell laptop with something smaller and more powerful, the Dell OptiPlex 790 Ultra Small Form Factor (USFF)...

Small footprint; powerful processor; (7) USB ports

None Come to Mind

In the market for a new desktop PC and your computing needs do not stray to the exotic, the Dell OptiPlex 790 USFF should be given serious consideration.

More features than you would expect for the price

Bought the computer to be used in a church office where its primary use is to edit audio (sermons). Had to use the microphone port for the line-in. It would have been more convenient to have a separate line-in. It states that it has THX capability but...

Large hdd, touch screen and wireless keyboard and mouse and wi-fi

Audio not great and could use a line-in port

Don't do it!

I'll be brief: -warranty thru best buy didn't see me thru the immediate problems with ths computer -couldn't fully install all of my programs before my hard drive crashed the FIRST time (it subsequently crashed 3 MORE TIMES within 6 WEEKS of ownership)...

I learned about the superiority of Apple computers

Completely unreliable

Love the profile

Needed an all in one computer for a new desk. This Dell fit the bill perfectly. As yet, no issues or complaints. Wireless mouse..great; vivid colors on monitor...awesome. Great price too. Reliability was four only because I've only had it a month.

all in one

nothing yet

Great, easy to use computer

I love the big screen and that this computer is easy to navigate. This computer is great for families with children. The touch screen works really well but I love that I can use a mouse as well.

Love the touch screen feature

The price was great $399

Great for everyday use!

When this model went on sale for $399 I decided to take a chance and buy it as a replacement for my mother's 10 yr old computer running XP. I figured the touch screen would be ideal for her as she only uses it for Email and looking at photos. It's...

Easy, economical, nice looking

Keeping the touch screen clean is a slight inconvenience
