Dell OptiPlex 9020 AIO

For a basic work desktop, the Dell OptiPlex 9020 All-in-One is a solid choice, handling day-to-day computing tasks with ease and bringing Windows 8 and touch to the workplace.

All-in-One design with 23-inch touch display. Fourth-generation Intel Core i5 processor gets the job done and adds extra graphics oomph

500GB hard drive may be a little small. Lacks a dedicated GPU for real graphics heavy lifting

There's a new face in the office, and while does everything the last guy did, it doesn't look the same and it does things a little different. I'm talking, of course, about the all-in-one PC, which is rapidly becoming the new norm for office PCs,...

Dell - PowerEdge R610

Intel's 45nm Xeon 5500 (Nehalem) processor technology is something of a no-brainer, delivering an unbeatable mix of high performance and energy saving features. Server vendors have, understandably, adopted it with gusto, among them Dell, whose 11th ...

The 1U member of Dell's 11th generation PowerEdge server family is small but beautifully formed, with sockets for two Xeon 5500 (Nehalem) processors and up to 48GB of RAM. The new Dell Lifecycle controller is another key feature along with built-in...

Dell PowerEdge R610 server review

HP and IBM should be very afraid. Dell's latest PowerEdge R610 - featuring Intel's new 'Nehalem' Xeon 5500 - sets new standards for rack server design. We exclusively review the new addition to the PowerEdge family.

Dell's eleventh generation PowerEdge servers raise the bar for rack server design - the new R610 simply oozes class. It delivers Intel's new 5500 Series processors in an extremely well designed chassis that's easy on the power supply, incredibly quiet...

They Lied To Me

290 watt power supply, plenty of room in the mini tower case, very quiet. No complaints on the Dell side, all good there. My problem is with Antonline and their lying, misrepresenting ways.

Works fine, nearly no bloatware, Win 7 pro already installed, comes with win 8.1 recovery dvd, and usb mouse and keyboard. Mine came with single stick of Hynix ddr3 4 gb, one slot empty

CPU is i5 4590, not 4690 as advertised. Antonline lied about the CPU. Those illegitimate sons of unmarried mothers, I bet they did this knowing it wasn't a big enough thing for most people to bother to return it. I won't, but I'm warning you, don't be...

Stable solid PC

Until i had this machine I ran my business off of a laptop. The laptop runs fine, but is taking a lot of wear and tear as I travel to most of my clients. This machine runs my office now. The OptiPlex series is universal enough that I could find...

I bought this PC for my office and immediately upgraded the OS ; The windows 8.1 update was only possible via the provided disk, as the included product key is stored in the bois. Once windows was upgraded and updated, the machine ran flawlessly ; It...

The PCI simple communications controller driver did not rollover when making the transition from Windows 7 pro to 8.1 pro. It was not found by windows update, however the Dell support website had the necessary driver

Works like a champ

I own an older Dell Optiplex computer, and it's been rock solid for about 8 years, so that weighed heavily in my decision.

I selected this machine for a couple of reasons. I wanted Win 7 Pro because of its XP mode so I can continue to use an older, very expensive scanner, and I needed a legacy PCI slot ; I recently helped a non-tech-savvy person set up a "store bought" PC...

The machine arrived with a bad CD/DVD drive, but Dell sent me a replacement quickly with zero hassle ; I also found the Dell website somewhat lacking as it made it difficult to find detailed technical specs on their products
