Dell Vostro 470

Business systems are often defined not just by how quickly they complete their assigned tasks, but how quickly the systems themselves get to market. For that reason, the Dell Vostro 470 deserves some significant plaudits: This is one of the first...

Up-to-date hardware. Strong performance across applications. Fairly expandable

Default warranty covers only one year

The Dell Vostro 470 delivers fine performance and a robust-enough feature set to be your go-to sub-$1,000 business PC of choice.

Dell Vostro 470

It may look like a basic-black tower desktop, but not all basic-black PCs are created equal. For small businesses buying PCs they'll need to rely upon every day, sometimes the services and policies behind the hardware matter just as much as the box...

Competitive application performance ; Basic black design will not offend ; Toolless chassis

Standard warranty lasts only one year ; Bundled keyboard and mouse are subpar

A simple and functional design, strong performance, and useful support options make the Dell Vostro 470 a good fit for small businesses.

Why I did not try a refurb before is beyond me.

Works great, looks good, great for gaming...just wish it were a tad faster, but beats the heck out of what I had before.

I needed win 8.1 also. I didn't catch that part. I'm Adding graphics card also. Although it seems like a lot for the price though.

Worst computer experience possible

We are so relieved to have taken this computer back to the store. After spending 5 hours on the phone to Dell, Microsoft, and our Internet/e-mail server, we learned that Windows 8 does not support our pop3 e-mail server. The Dell rep in India spent two...
