The machine is pretty big and a bit heavy. I did expect it to be faster with a 3.4 ghz in it. But for the price it is an excellent machine.

Real good Basic computer for replacement of an older one. Added drives, memory, etc. from the older one. Like the clean layout & ease of adding drives, etc. Was looking for one with a floppy drive to use as a secondary while the main machine is doing...

For a non Core 2 or ix machine, it works awesome. Graphics need a bit of a bump for Win 7, but throwing in a cheap card worked, and also Win 7 x64 and it runs like a champ. It also came with a 160 gig drive instead of the 80, so bit of a free bump....

The biggest consideration you have to keep in mind is the price you are paying for what you are getting. You are paying for older technology, Pentium D instead of a Core2 or i3 etc..but this is a higher end Dell from that year. The quality is apparent...
