Dell XPS 8300 (X8300-4004NBK)

The Dell XPS 8300 (X8300-4004NBK) gives you an expandable and powerful quad-core desktop with enough space to store your digital life.

Speedy quad-core processor. DirectX 11-ready graphics card. eSATA port. HDMI port.

Out of place Dell Stage launcher. Criminally short 30-day subscription to McAfee Internet Security. No USB 3.0. Negligible 3D performance.

Dell XPS 8300 (x8300-4004NBK)

The system comes with a few pieces of pre-loaded software: The McAfee Internet Security software, which has a very short 30-day subscription, and Microsoft Office 2010 Starter are commonly found on systems. Office is fully functional for basic document...

The Dell XPS 8300 (X8300-4004NBK) gives you an expandable, and powerful quad-core tower with enough space to store your digital life, but there are other choices with a bit more future proofing for less money.

Best mainstream desktop computer

The Dell Studio XPS 8300 is a well-regarded mainstream desktop, with enough power for everyday tasks and a bit more. Though no one will mistake it for a dedicated gaming rig, gaming performance is not bad for the price. Although base...

Excellent value, discrete graphics, good gaming performance

Not much room for upgrades, doesn't play cutting-edge games well

Dell XPS 8300

For a home computer, the Dell XPS 8300 is a great way to go. This computer comes with a good processor which has a speed of 2.9 GHz. The RAM is sufficient for any home need at 6GB as well as the hard drive capacity of 1000GB. We would have liked to see...

This computer has a CPU processing speed of 2.9 GHz, which is great for a home computer

We would have liked to see more in the way of entertainment, like a Blu-ray drive or wireless already enabled

Despite the fact that it lacks a few entertainment options, the speed, memory, storage and support options make this computer well worth it.

Dell XPS 8300 Sandy Bridge desktop PC

Dell XPS 8300 review: An Intel Core i7-based PC that's useful for almost any task

Fast performance ; 2TB hard drive

USB 3.0 is optional ; Wi-Fi isn't included as standard

The Dell XPS 8300 offers plenty of performance for users who want to perform multimedia tasks. It's also perfect for heavy multitasking, can be used for a little gaming, and it has a 2TB hard drive. We just wish it came with USB 3.0 and Wi-Fi as standard.

Dell Studio XPS 8300 review

Not everyone wants their PC to look like a looming black obelisk. Although Dell's Studio XPS 8300 won't be to everyone's taste, it's compact, unassuming and reasonably quiet. It's only when we opened it up that we realised how much has been sacrificed...

This Sandy Bridge system has refreshingly different styling and some interesting features, but it's out-performed by almost every other comparable system on the market.

Solid Computer

Shipped with computer, power cord, mouse, and keyboard. I installed a EVGA GTX 550 ti video card into it. The card was not a tight fit, but it did not have tons of room either. With the video card installed, this machine runs Diablo 3 on high settings,...

Solid computer, runs well

None as of yet

A Reasonable Value with Power to Spare

Desktop computing speed and power has actually become less expensive over the years. For about half of what I paid for a lot less five years ago, this new DELL XPS8300 system rocks! This is a fast and reliable machine that is even better once...

A good computer as prebuilt, even better once customized

Not the cheapest, but sometimes you DO get what you pay for

Works for me!

A few glitches in getting printer set up but works well now. Have not added too much software yet like autocad. But I like it well enough just takes getting used to Windows 7 after being a XP fan.

Easy To Setup,Easy to Use,Efficient,Reliable

Flimsy Construction
