Not too sure...

 

Are these systems refurbished from Dell or units that did not meet QC standards? Forget the middle-man buy straight from Dell. Get a good surge protector or a few spare hard drives and be sure to backup regularly.

Win 7, decent processor, 2GB Memory, pretty case, easy access front USB ports, quiet DVD drive and it's Dell

I ordered 20 of these. 3 of the 20 have dents, not tiny little dings.. I mean dents. One was bent so bad on the side that it forced the back into a V shape which created a gap between the mobo and the plate where the connectors go. Some came with...

I am a little scared of David's review noting the "black screen of death" i am at 3 weeks now without a problem. I will report back if I encounter this as well.

Price, functionality, very fast, Core2Duo serves the purpose perfectly of what I need it for. Almost no bloatware, which was refreshing

2MB of RAM. Do yourself a favor and add 4MB of RAM to your order. I did, but first initially booted and ran with the 2MB. Shut it down and popped in the 4MB and the difference is night and day. Well worth the upgrade

Excellent Business PC for the cost

 

Overall it's going to be hard to find a system like this with Windows 7 Pro for much less. I'm sold and definitely plan on buying many more as we make the transition from XP to 7.

First and foremost - there isn't a whole slew of bloat-ware on these computers to uninstall. I did have to uninstall a few things, but that took all of a few minutes. The computers themselves seem solid and well built (my first dell... dude). Excellent...

The only issue I had seemed to be a bad sata connection on the motherboard as the computer could not find the DVD drive. A quick swap to a different connection and the computer found the DVD drive no problems

This is a great deal. If you are looking for a computer for a typical user. This is the computer I would recommend. I would buy another one if I needed it

Great Knowledge Worker PC

 

Hopefully someday I will find the perfect call center PC. For now this seems to be the best for the cost. The perfect computer for call centers: Slim, HDMI, powerful (so, no ATOM processors), front audio jacks, etc. Sounds like an Acer Aspire? Don't...

Supports Network Boot ; Windows 7 Pro for Domains ; This PC is great for call center agents ; It is cheap, quiet, and powerful ; The audio jacks on the front make it easy for VOIP Softphone applications

I wish they had a version without a CD/DVD drive. It's not needed in some enviroments and could save a little cost
