Great workstation

I have since moved the motherboard and components to an Antec ISK300-150 and added a 2 port Intel gigabit adapter. The original case was still quite functional so I donated it to Goodwill. This is a barebone and as such does not function until you add...

At this point I am going on 4 years of continued use on this little barebone. I used it as my business workstation, my playtime machine, development machine, virtual host, I found the TPM for it and have set it up... This little box is still rocking...

None at all. The barebone was an awesome purchase.

dead after one year

It was nice when it worked

it shut down once in a while without warning. As it aged the shut downs became more frequent. After the last shut down it would not restart. I did some trouble shooting thinking that it was a bad power supply. (changed the power supply and tried the...

good pc, junk power supply

pro: great little pc for the family. Enough power for the web and video. this is a slow processor, but its good enough for common tasks, and its cheap

con: The power supply died in the middle of a youtube video after 3 weeks. If i want to return it, i have to return the whole build, not just the power supply.....

Cheap, lower power, but solid

It's important to realize that the processor on these is pretty slow, so if you want to do anything beyond the most basic of tasks this is not the right choice. They do make good very low powered workstations or could probably work as very simple...

I picked up 4 of these to replace some really old workstations for users who barely do anything beyond opening a browser and firing up Outlook. For this they are pretty solid, but if you want to do anything beyond that you are going to have a bad time....

They don't have enough power to play any video content that is HD, so while I was hoping to use one as an HTPC it would not be a good idea. I've also had some issues with them having errors booting into Windows, which is not a huge issue, but has been...

Foxconn R20-A1

Built this as an inexpensive linux machine to access web and email. Also is used to view technical documents and chat with others on google chat. Has worked perfectly for over six months. Would have gotten 5 stars but the front cover broke the first...

Does what I need it to do well and for low cost.

The front cover breaks easy

Random but frequent BSOD and failed on bios update

Tried clearing the CMOS by switching the jumper from 1-2 to 2-3 and it still doesn't post(or it may be posting but nothing is being output to displays).

Good little htpc for the 30 minutes it would work before blue screening. Cheap

After 30 minutes it would error and blue screen. Tried 2 memory dimms before trying to update the bios. Updated the bios through the wingui program following the instructions and now nothing is showing up on the hdmi nor dvi-d port. Really not worth...

Great workstation

I'm starting to wonder at the technical skill level meter... perhaps it should be removed or somehow verifiable... most of the poor reviews on this barebone box are lacking real specifics. This is a barebone and as such does not function until you add...

None at all. The barebone has been an awesome purchase. I plan to buy more going forward.

Ordered 2 of them, they both lasted about 3 months. Stay Away from this one.

Great HTPC

Overall this is a good product. Could be better but overall I am very content with the item.

- Small - Lightweight - Low power consumption - Good for HTPC - DDR3

- SATA drive installation is a bit tight - Plastic clips break easily on the exterior panel but do not affect the look or functionality - PSU is very low power, can barely run a standard SATA HDD and Radeon HD 5450.
