not reliable in long run

After the PSU failure, both machines would "light-up" but wouldn't boot. 2nd machine started having problems shutting down about 1 month before full failure - would continually reboot instead of shutting down. Once I replaced the power supplies in both...

no fans=silent. looks cool. pretty good cable management. high efficiency

These didn't stand the test of time. Bought two of these for use in two older Intel P4's, as a means to bring the noise down. First one died in about 10 months. Second one lasted a bit over a year. If paying a premium, I expect a PSU to be reliable and...

Terrible company and product

I have emailed FSP *several* times over the last year and not a single response. This company is a scam and will not honor their warranty or even give customers the time of day when they have a problem.

It never worked so I don't have any

The company will *NOT* respond to my emails about the defective power supply. It died the day I installed it which was unfortunately long after I bought it

Its been working for over a year!

I bought this from NewEgg a little over a year ago and it's been running like a champ - until recently. I'm now starting to get POST issues, where I press the power button to turn on and get a bunch of fast beeps (POST error indicating power problems)....

Its a solid, silent power supply

Its a solid performer, but is limited in power availability. Lots components today require more power, so be cautious with your application of this unit

Their website doesn't even list this power supply.

It looks great on paper.... 80 Plus certified and fanless

shut off time

perfect for a low powered server - not recommended for desktop with frequent restarts - antec phantom better choice

silent and otherwise excellent performer for systems with low power requirements

after power is removed, PSU will not restart until cooled down. This was 30 mins for the first unit I bought - but 4 hours for the second - QC issue

good idea, bad parts

Silent, efficient, nice looking

2 out of 3 have died. First went up in smoke when new, second just died this weekend after a few months of use; wasn't reliably producing power. Wonder when the last one will fail

bad buy so don't buy

I'm disgusted with FSP and will NEVER deal or recommend them to anyone as there attitude was abysmal.

nice socks on the leads

didn't work out of the box and the manufacturer will not fix or replace it under warranty; they said "it wasn't sold by an authorized retailer [newegg] so they would not honor the warranty

You're as likely to be sorry as happy

FSP Group ZEN 80 Plus FSP300-60GNF-R 300W ATX 12V Version 2.0 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Is these normal for a PSU?

Very quiet

I bought FSP ZEN 300 fanless PS. It made a very low crackling sound several times a day for several minutes ; which was accompanied with a slight monitor screen image trembling. The shop ; replaced it with another FSP ZEN 300. The second FSP ZEN 300...
