Fujitsu Esprimo Q9000

Mini-PCs are a great alternative to bulky and underused desktops for businesses looking to make space savings and reduce energy usage, but prices can vary wildly. A prime example is Apple's latest Mac mini, which failed to impress us with an asking...

The Q9000 packs a lot of hardware into a sleek package, making it a far greener alternative to a desktop PC

Fujitsu Esprimo Q9000 review

Fujitsu's mini PC puts business compute power into a space-saving design

Compact space-saving system; Wi-Fi and Bluetooth options for flexibility

Relatively costly; external PSU required

The Esprimo Q9000 is essentially laptop hardware adapted to fit a compact desktop form factor. This specification is ample for everyday business applications, and the system unit can even be mounted behind a monitor for maximum space saving.

Fujitsu Esprimo Q9000

Review Fujitsu's Esprimo Q9000 packs the guts of a laptop into a tiny desktop system. There's a 2.13GHz Intel Core i3-330M [1] with integrated Intel HD graphics, 4GB of DDR 3 memory, a 160GB Hitachi laptop hard drive and Gigabit Ethernet.

This stylish Core i3 PC has enough grunt for daily duties and has a very well balanced specification. However, the price of a full system is rather high. ®
