Strong price-for-performance ratio ; Beautiful chassis ; Hot-swap bays make for quick storage changes

If you're seeking a nicely priced, highly upgradable PC for mainstream gaming and watching Blu-rays, this model is a smart choice.

Excellent for mainstream gaming; Blu-ray drive; easy to install more hard drives

Flimsy drive-bay door; lacks USB 3.0

But between the two Gateway FX machines, the performance difference isn't really significant, which shouldn't be surprising considering they share the same graphics card. If you aren't likely to upgrade the tower, and you don't plan on watching Blu-ray...
