Very happy with my purchase

I was looking to get my hands on an inexpensive Windows 8 license to replace my ancient XP disc. I'm more of a Linux user, but I do tech support and live in the real world so I still need to have a copy of Windows installed *somewhere* for support and...

Very snappy performance with basic Windows productivity. Windows 8 rates the gaming graphics performance as a 6, which is not too shabby for integrated graphics on a unit this cheap (I purchased the refurbished version). Windows 8.1 upgrade went...

The graphics card *greatly* out classes the CPU performance. While Windows 8 rates the gaming graphics performance as a 6, the cpu is rated as a 3.8. Also, the blue/white light LEDs on this thing are *inexcusably* bright. In a dark room you can hardly...

Nice adequate pc

It is tough to justify adding RAM and drive space to older 32 bit Vista and Windows 7 systems when this starts out with more memory and hard drive than those systems had. These appear to be Acer systems with no real use by the prior owner if there was...

Complete upgradable Windows 8.1 system with adequate performance. Not a gaming machine but fine for internet surfing, email and MS Office. More capable than the top systems from 3 years ago. The HDMI port makes it adequate for a basic HTPC use

Other than the limited horsepower, the system in not that expandable. No SATA connectors are untaken so expansion of drive space is limited

Great Low Cost SFF Refurb

Only has 4GB memory, as speced. (Gee, a sub-$200 computer that doesn't come with 8GB of DDR3-1600 memory.)

I don't know why this unit hasn't gotten more good reviews like it's older SX2185 siblings. Perhaps the refurbs of the UB37 just haven't been available as often. In any case, it comes with a slightly more powerful processor and video APU than they do...

Power on and disk activity LEDs are way too bright. Will probably tape them over. No USB 3.0 ports in back. Would have liked a DVI connector, but what do you expect at this price

It's not 8GB

I saw it has 8GB that is why I bought it, even though it is a bit more expensive than other.

Extremely good for the price

Great for the price, I've purchased several of these and had no issues thus far. The only issue has been the door on the front for USB stuff has broken. Cannot build a PC with anywhere near these specs for the price that includes a Windows 8 license.

Rock solid, works well, extremely affordable at the $310 price I've been getting them at

Cannot run Linux, Windows 8 key is in the BIOS. Dual monitor must be done through VGA and HDMI

Good simple desktop, only downside is no wifi. Simple setup and easy for the whole family to use. Provides separate log ins so I can monitor what my kids have access to. I purchased a wifi extender that plugged directly in with Ethernet cable, works...
