Gateway SX2370-UR10P

Gateway's SX line is one of the most compact and polished-looking slim-tower PC lines out there. Parent company Acer has an Aspire X1 line that offers similar slim towers in the same price range, and as much as Acer has put its own brand before its...

The Gateway SX2870-UR10P offers competent workhorse PC capabilities in a compact, versatile chassis.

Gateway's online service is in a state of disarray.

Budget desktops might not be all that exciting, but the Gateway SX2870-UR10P slim tower shows you can still find a worthwhile day-to-day PC for under $500.

Good until it fails

Second Acer/Gateway product that failed under warranty and Acer/Gateway found a reason not to honor warranty. In this case WIn8 installation/hardrive corrupted and they want me to pay for it.

cheap

Fails and Gateway will not honor warranty

Great bang for the buck

I would purchase again.

Putting this together for a point of sale terminal. It's quick, it's quiet, didn't come with 2 tons of bloat ware. Plenty of connectivity on the front flip panel

Is there a way to dime the boarder lighting?

VERY disappointed

If you don't care about any of the cons i listed, go ahead. If you do, DON'T buy this thing. This is the first and last gateway product I will ever buy.

Not many. The memory can be upgraded to 16Gb, its small and mostly quiet

You get no discs, no recovery media. You also get no windows license, only the royalty oem license built in the image. You can only make recovery on 16 Gb usb flash drives, OR you can pay gateway $20 for a dvd. The tech support is awful! It comes with...

uefi firmware poses problems

if the firmware wasn't the issue then I'd recommend buying it......... loaded with unneeded bundled software

decent workhorse. very responsive

uefi system appears faulty when trying to boot from a usb device. tech support doesn't speak english very well. the new windows 8 start menu is a letdown as well...reverted to older style shell.

Speedy Economical Solution

This is a nice little unit for someone who just needs basic computer access. It is especially nice because it comes ready to go with no build and a copy of Windows pre-installed on it.

None at the moment
