Gateway SX2802-01

The Gateway SX2802-01 ($499.99 list at Costco) lends credence to the old saying that good things come in small packages. This small form factor (SFF) desktop system offers solid quad-core performance and a sizable hard drive, and its whisper quiet. As...

Quad core processor. Solid performance. Super quiet. Sleek, compact design

Limited upgrade potential. Lots of bloatware. Integrated graphics. Monitor not included

The Gateway SX2802-01 helps you reclaim valuable desktop space without sacrificing power. It offers strong quad-core processing, ample storage, and quiet operation, but its upgrade potential is limited, and you'll have to supply your own monitor.

Great Machine

If you're upgrading the video card, make sure you buy PCI Express 2.0 card that fits in one slot, meaning the fan/heatsink doesn't take up the space of 2 slots. The slot is up against the top of the case so there's no room for a card that takes the...

It's fast, small and quiet. Works exactly like it should and Windows 7 is fast and stable. Does dual monitor support out of the box, with HDMI and VGA(DSUB) connections

DVD drive eject button is rediculously difficult to press and there's no tactile response as to when you've actually pressed it. Amazing how Gateway overlooked this design flaw

KILLER DEAL for a Great Basic Box

It has no Software CD's, (recommend using the Create Restore Disk Feature the second you have it booted up, Do OS and Applications Backups. It will require 4 DVD's and works great) Not a lot of room to upgrade, Dont buy this if you want it to be a box...

If you are looking for a feature packed machine, and not somting basic that you in tend to upgrade with lots of adds, this machine is PERFECT. Its an out of the box, fast feature packed machine that will do everything the basic to experienced user...

Front access door not very sturdy (can see it breaking at some point) ; Eject button is a PAIN, you have to play with it, and push at just the right angle and hard to get it to open. (Hint: if you use your THUMB to press it and are firm, it works best)...
