Guild Wars 2 Review

Guild Wars, the hugely successful subscription-free fantasy MMO, now has its first sequel: Guild Wars 2. The developers promise a divergence from traditional MMO formulas, including those used by the original. Does this new direction herald a new era...

Guild Wars 2

As a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game Guild Wars 2 enters a much changed marketplace since the original was released in 2005. The monthly subscription model is no longer king with most new games now using a free to play setup. Even those...

Guild Wars 2

A shot in the arm for massive multiplayer online gaming.

Streamlined and entertaining MMO gameplay ; Great mix of personal storylines and crowd events ; The most beautiful MMORPG yet

Overflow system makes it hard to stick with groups ; Purists might not like the solo-focused approach ; Whopping difficulty spikes in some encounters

pioneered the concept with its public quests – but Guild Wars 2 makes it feel like the heart of the game. Events are a great way to play with other players without any ties or restrictions.

A great game. Some flaws

Guildwars 2 has been a very highly anticipated game and thankfully it has very little wrong with it from my point of view. Since i have yet to reach end game do please take my review with a pinch of salt.

MMO's can be fun

This shall not be a long review or a bias one. I have played mmos for nearly 8 years and played FFXI, wow, LOTRO, and more.

Good

I am into MMORPGs, I play World of Warcraft, but if you are wondering wheather MMORPGs are for you then this is your game. The story is epic and the gameplay is good. It follows the same system that most MMORPGs follow, i.e you have a bar with skills...
