HP 100B All-in-One

If you're looking for a cheap, decently attractive all-in-one desktop that sips energy but is fairly sluggish, we have the computer for you. Although the business-focused HP 100B All-in-One comes preloaded with Windows 7 Professional, HP has...

Attractive and business-ready ; Bright screen with good viewing angles

Poor performance

The HP 100B has a nice, bright screen, but it fails to deliver on performance and features.

The desktop's 250GB hard drive is plenty for most business use. More space would be needed for video work, but in that case you'd be looking at a much faster tower or all-in-one PC anyway. That hard drive comes pre-loaded with your choice of operating...

Compact. Inexpensive. Limited bloatware. FireFox Virtual Browser and Virtual PC-XP Mode

Slow on multimedia creation tasks. Not true 1080p HD. External power brick

The HP 100 B All-in-One PC is one of the least expensive ways to get a PC on your workers' desks. It's a true business PC with AMD Fusion guts, which makes it both simple and economical.

Sometimes you need to watch out for a barbed hook wedged in the back of a PC. What are we talking about? In a nutshell: The HP 100B looks like tasty bait for budget-strapped businesses.

Attractive, compact design ; Decent audio output

Sluggish performance ; One-year warranty is short for a business PC ; No Webcam ; Bundled keyboard is very low-end

This all-in-one has an enticing price and a space-saving design, but it's underpowered for all but the most basic tasks, and its warranty is short for a business PC.
