Good quality sound but...

This computer gets you a complete computer for just a few $$ more than the regular price on an OEM copy of Windows 8 Pro (8.1 Pro) - go ahead and get an SSD for it as well - you'll also need a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter - we used an RDRD-11004. When you...

Inexpensive for a computer running a professional operating system, uses a laptop style AC adapter, small form factor, debranded HP

Rebate nightmare - I mailed the documentation for the rebate and 99 days later, no rebate. So, I called the rebate company: rebateaccess - usually 70 days to send a rebate. They said they sent a letter of non-compliance because the barcode I sent in...

Good card, Great value, better than Xfired 270Xs.

If you buy this, do this: 1) Sign in to your wireless network. 2) Go to the Windows Store and download the Windows 8.1 upgrade. It takes a few hours to download and install, but it's a huge improvement. The computer itself is great. We use it for basic...

Small case ; Low power usage ; DVD burner ; 7 in 1 card reader ; Boots quickly ; Very quiet ; Comes with a clean install of Windows 8 -- no bloatware at all on mine ; WiFi built in ;

CPU is slow ; Not for gaming

I cannot believe how slow this computer is!

it's just too much effort to exchange it.

It is a very cheap computer, if you pay less than $125 and the small size is a benefit. Wireless network card built into the motherboard. Also has an SD card reader

It is terribly slow and the Windows 8.0 interface is awful. It makes me miss my old Windows Vista computer. It's also a little sketchy because the HP logo on the metal case is covered by a black sticker. The motherboard does have an HP logo, so I think...

Slow Laptop in Desktop Case

The parts that you get in this dog, minus the motherboard and cpu, can be put in a new case with a real cpu and be very useful.

Selling for $99 on NeweggFlash

It's a laptop in a desktop case, and a slow one at that, and that is why it is in the bargain bin

A Steal

This computer is a steal at this price. It says its refurbished but mine looks brand new not a mark on it and it has the original plastic coverings. After about a week it automatically upgrades to Windows 8.1 Pro which added a lot of new features and...

It's a bit slow, but with an inexpensive SSD upgrade, it is quite usable, it's a pain to have to use a Windows 8 Pro install disc, then install 8.1 Pro from the Windows store

Needs a little tweaking out of the box.

Not a bad unit for the price. Remove all HP software and Bloatware. Remove McAfee antivirus and use Windows Defender to speed it up. Takes some tweaking to run at a comfortable speed. Otherwise right out of the box you will be waiting 30 seconds for...

Well priced. Decent video card. Adequate RAM. Windows 8.1

Right out of the box this little machine runs like a dog. After heavy removal of bloatware this little machine will surprise you. Booting from USB requires a BIOS update otherwise you will not have the ability to boot a USB drive. It has an external...
