HP Pavilion p6610f

The highlights of the HP Pavilion p6610f ($529.98 list) desktop, available at Staples, are its a quad-core processor and a roomy 750GB (7,200rpm) hard drive. It also boasts a case that belies its budget status and serves up Wi-Fi out of the box. As...

Strong performer for the price. Nice-looking case. Roomy 750GB hard drive. Wi-Fi included

No HDMI. Bloatware

Aside from some bloatware, the HP Pavilion p6610f is a prime example of a successful budget desktop PC. It supplies strong performance for the price, thanks to its quad-core chip, inside an attractive and functional case.

Mine is a P6t HP but close enough to this unit to comment. I bought a top of the line HP a few years ago but when I attempted to upgrade it from Vista to Win7, the screen went dark and stayed there with no resolution in spite of trying everything I...

So far - excellent performance and compatibility

I grabbed this system refurbished for $299 from a nearby shop here in the area. And, I purchased their extra 2 yr. extended warranty for $79. Thus far, the machine's speed is excellent...and if I upgraded the RAM to it's capacity (16GB), it would be...

HP P6610F Computer from Hell

I strongly discourage anyone from buying the HP P6610f or a comparable HP desktop computer with similar components from Amazon or any other vendor. I bought mine brand new from Amazon about 10 months ago, paid about $600, and thought I would enjoy it...

It might be good, but...

Microsoft, in its great wisdom, is selling PC manufacturers 64 bit Windows 7 software which is what came preloaded on my PC. There are problems with the 64 bit system, added to any problems with the 32 bit sytem. I can get very little Microsoft...
