HP Pavilion Slimline s3500f - Athlon 64 X2 5400+ 2.8 GHz

By Matthew Elliott (cnet.com)

Competitive performance among budget PCs ; integrated Wi-Fi ; compact

Limited expansion room ; home theater features get jettisoned to hit low price, including Blu-ray drive, TV tuner, HDMI ports, and wireless keyboard and mouse

As opposed to previous Slimline models, the HP Pavilion Slimline s3500f tosses aside home theater aspirations and targets budget buyers looking for a compact, cheap PC.

HP Pavilion Slimline s3500f

By Joel Santo Domingo (pcmag.com)

The HP Pavilion Slimline s3500f is a solid, compact, wireless desktop PC, good for a student on a budget who's into multimedia but doesn't care about 3D gaming.

Compact. Integrated power supply. Expandable. Pocket Media Drive Bay. 4GB of memory. Nice styling. Wireless networking.

The HP Pavilion Slimline s3500f is small in stature, but larger than the competing Dell Studio Hybrid and Mac mini. It trades a bit of the other's compactness in return for a full-size hard drive and optical drive, as well as some internal expansion. ...
