With poor system performance and a severe drought in features, we recommend leaving this clunker on the shelf and picking up the Gateway SX2840-01, a highly capable budget desktop with a faster processor chip, a bigger hard drive, and a larger variety...

Slim, space-saving tower

Sluggish processor; lacks HDMI output, Gigabit Ethernet, and wireless networking; insufficient hard drive; limited room for internal expansion

Neat package

After 3 weeks use, core memory useless...totally dissatisfied with performance...I deleted most of my music and pics but to no avail

"This was a great purchase. I am thoroughly pleased."

Ok...here's the real deal. I am a layperson ...

I love its small size. I love how quiet it is. It's sleek and slim, and makes my old HP PC from 2003 look like a dinosaur. It came with Windows 7, which is a marked improvement over XP, which I'd been using for 8 years...and was getting sick of

Bottom-line is that this is a great compact HTPC. AMD Phenom II x4 820 quad core processor will be faster than the Gateway SX2408-01's Core i3 530 (really a dual core with hyper threading). With bluray, windows 7 running windows media center is a...
