HP Pavilion Slimline s5660f review: HP Pavilion Slimline s5660f

HP Pavilion Slimline s5660f

All of the features we'd want in a living-room-friendly slim tower; fast computing performance; budget video card will play HD video and most 3D games.

No FireWire or eSATA ports; power hog.

From fast performance, to a Blu-ray drive, to plentiful other features, HP's Pavilion Slimline includes almost everything we'd ask for in our ideal living-room slim tower PC. It will seem expensive if you're more inclined to get a Nettop or a set-top...

HP Pavilion Slimline s5660f and the Gateway FX 6840-15e

In the market for a new desktop tower computer? Today we'll look at two machines in this niche, the HP Pavilion Slimline s5660f and the Gateway FX 6840-15e. Size isn't everything, as you'll see when we check out how well these two computers perform.

As a desktop for your living room, the HP Pavilion Slimline s5660f gets the job done. It does lack a couple of connectivity options, but its combination of a TV tuner, Blu-ray, HDMI, excellent performance, and more make it a great option for all of...

Nice little computer

Losing cyberlink software was not a deal breaker, though finding Bluray software is challenging.

Small, but nice, fully featured computer ; 64 Bit Windows 7 ; Nice processor, good at multitasking ; Bluray player ; IR remote is cool

HP software cannot be reinstalled easily- I upgraded to Windows 7 Enterprise and HP was very unhelpful in reinstalling the BluRay software. Really inexcusable from HP ; If you want to use dual screens and have an older monitor without HDMI (as I did)-...

HP 5660 ”

I purchased the hp5660 desktop computer 3 weeks ago.  I think the space that it takes up on the desk is reasonable.  However, I don't like the DVD drive on it side (vertical).  This allows the CDs to fallout easier when you are placing them in the...
