IBuyPower Gamer Extreme

Outlandish case design distinguishes this gaming system.

While you could do better for less money, the Gamer Extreme definitely pumps out the sound and offers up a good gaming experience.

iBuyPower Gamer Extreme

To determine how the new P4 stacks up against the stiff competition AMD provided, we got in the first shipping P4 EE machine we could find: A unit from iBuyPower. Besides comparing it with an Athlon 64 FX-51–based machine, we pitted the new P4 system...

3 plus years and still runs great

Can't believe I bought this back in 2012, and it still runs great. I got my money's worth from getting an IBuypower computer from Newegg.

reliable, fast, quiet, windows upgraded to windows 10 now and still running strong. Very stable machine

Abusive Customer Service

We make games and have been using ibuypower for about two years now. We had a machine that had a USB issue and so we contacted them. However, they were abusive and rude. They have lost a business account.

When the system works it does a great job

ibuypower has horrible customer and technical service people. They couldn't even look up the serial number and refused to answer simple questions for their own product. We sent them pictures of the machine and they still refused to even discuss service...

MONSTER for its price!

Overall I think this pc is a bang for the buck. It does almost everything for the price and has quality performence. I had this for almost a year. Video editing and gaming works perfectly fine! I recommend this to anyone who isn't a extreme gamer.

This pc is extremely fast! (Processor can be overclocked really well if power supply and cooling are modified) ; Ready out of the box ; Can run most games on Med-High ; LOTS OF ROOM for modifications ; Decent Graphics card ; SSD ; Wires are well organized

Case fans are loud! (I recommend changing those) ; No restore disk ; Only 400w ; Very few cons

Love it

This was my first gaming computer purchase, and I am over-all very happy with it. After shopping in the online computer market for a computer with a price that was not some sort of unfair trick or "discount", this bundle was a dream come true. I had...

Love this computer; bought it on sale back in 2012 since the over all price beat out purchasing the same components individually; keyboard and mouse were also a superb plus for $900 total. Turns on in 9 seconds (before I filled up the SSD), still turns...

Not really a gripe, but the OS (Windows 8) had to be installed and activated, which required looking for the activation code on the side of the tower, although that was probably my own slowness at work ; Something else I'm experiencing just recently (a...

Great specs back in the day ; The GTS 450 lasted me till about a few weeks ago! It is still putting out roughly 30fps on medium in BF4 but I thought it was time to upgrade ; 12.29.13

Low ram? If I purchased again, I would go for Intel

2 weeks and the SSD died

I tried contacting iBuyPower and sat in their online chat queue for 45 minutes as the first person in line before I gave up. I had heard that iBuyPower was bad about customer service but I had no idea it was THAT bad.

it was awesome fast while it was working

it died just after 2 weeks of use. It froze and when i restarted it I was informed I had a boot disk failure and I needed to insert a system disk that did not come with the PC. So I bought a copy of windows 7 and tried that because windows8 is pretty...

Great Computer

Overall a great computer I recommend purchasing it. I loved it and I want to get it fixed. I hope I can find a way to get a new motherboard or get mine fixed. I am not sure if the 1 year warranty on parts will cover the motherboard.

I loved everything about this computer. It could run everything I threw at it. It was also very smooth and fast. This has been my favorite computer that I have ever purchased. It met most of my expectations

The motherboard died out on me after 8 months. I have the computer sitting in a corner of the room collecting dust. I was disappointed with how long it lasted. I wish it could have lasted at least a year for the price

Love it

This is my second IBuyPower gaming desktop. My first one purchased in 2011 still runs great and is quiet. We had a different brand desktop that had died (I have one and my wife has one she works off of) so I wanted another IBuyPower. This new one runs...

So far, everything is great. Machine ran right out of the box with no problems. It is extremely fast and very quiet

When I opened the box, the computer was not tightly fit into the Styrofoam packing holders. It looked like it might have slid around in the box during delivery. Also, the tape was coming off the box and partially unsealed on one side. Though it was a...
