Wrong Processor

When I buy something brand new I A) Expect everything to be as described in the product advertisement from which I purchased it from and B) Expect everything to be in proper working order. I will not be buying from IBuyPower ever again.

Runs great, 0 lag very smooth. Plays WoW at max settings at 60 fps. A great budget gaming computer

Shipped with the wrong processor. The processor described is a Q8300 2.5ghz and it came with a Q2300 2.33 ghz processor. Will be on the phone with Ibuypower getting my correct processor. Having problems with Ventrilo failing and losing all sound until...

Buyer Beware

Will not buy from IBuypower again. Newegg, do yourselves a favor and stop business with them.

Supposedly comes with a Q8300 Processor rated at 2.5ghz. Upon Closer examination through the Control Panel i found that a Q8200 rated at 2.33ghz was in fact installed. Do yourselves a favor and check the processor on these computers

iBUYPOWER Gamer Power 908 Core 2 Quad Q8300(2.50GHz) 4GB DDR2 500GB NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit - Retail

When you buy from ibuypower you are making a gamble. There is a 50% chance you have a perfect PC and there is that other 50% chance that you get a dead piece of junk. If you are willing to make that gamble you could end up with a wonderfully priced...

This computer runs fast, allows a lot of multitasking, plays any game with 0 lag, the case is nice, and boots up very fast

3 days after owning it, the computer just randomly shut off and when turned on, turns off 3 seconds later. I have a feeling it is a faulty power supply. Im sorry but when I spend $700 on something, I expect it to work

Love it!

Great job Newegg and IBuyPower!!!!!

Great computer for the price! My son and I have been playing non-stop COD. Very fast shipping and everything was described as in the ad

None that I can think of. My wife is going to divorce me though if I keep playing COD. Wait, is this a Pro or a Con

Great for the Money

The case lights are too bright.

Loads up almost instantly, runs almost every single game currently out on high at decent frames per second

The fan is too fast, manually reducing speed is a must to preserve fan life

Fast for a good price

Runs fast enough to produce good frame rates in WoW Wrath of the Lich King and eliminates lag experienced with an older computer

Fan speed was set by default to 100%, making it very loud. To quiet it down required changing a BIOS setting or installing the Fox One utility that came on a CD with the system. This should have been selected before shipping the system ; Vista 64-bit...

Quick machine at a good price

Processing speed and graphics adapter allow good frame rates and cured lag problems of a previoius system in WoW Wrath of the Lich King

CPU fan speed was initially very high, making it LOUD ; It turned out to be due to a BIOS setting that defaulted to 100%. It took a bit of searching to find that it can be changed to 'SmartFan', either in Setup or through installing the Fox One...

Fans is a hurricane!

Awesome power. Runs COD 4 Max settings, should handle Crysis fairly well

My ONLY qualm here the CPU fan. It's ironic that the case is called a tornado, because it contains one. The fan runs at like 6250 RPM, and it is way too loud. Still trying to get ahold of the manufacturer, but newegg has an A+ for this one

Beautiful PC

I think IBuyPower may have got their act together on this wave of PCs. After numerous complaints about the systems being shoddily put together, this run seems to have been better manufactured. I see no glue, all wires are nicely tied together and it...

loads Vista almost immediately after pushing the power button on

motherboard only accepts up to 4mb RAM - has other limitations but not a serious issue
