A mainstream monster in every department
In terms of application performance the i5 750 impressed us again as it needed 23-, 41- and 132-seconds to complete our MPEG to DivX encode, TMPGenc encode and LAME wave to MP3 conversion tests. The Phenom II 955 was slower here again requiring 27-, ...

MSI offers a wide range of 'All-in-One' PCs and the Wind Top AE1900 stands as the entry level machine from its 'Entertainment Series'
Great design, big-screen size, 802.11n WiFi, well-priced, memory card reader
Lacks real video firepower, headphones and microphone ports on the back
As an entertainment machine this Wind Top is a mixed bag. That said, if you aren't after HD playback and gaming, this machine makes an excellent web and e-mail PC and, since it also packs a memory card reader, you can use it to show off photos as well.

Acer's E700 is claimed to be an allround application and gaming machine. So, does it actually have enough under the hood to backup the firm's claims?
Fast DirectX 9 performance, solid app machine.
Noisy hard drives, doesn't make the DirectX 10- gaming cut.
The E700's limited DirectX 10 gaming capabilities and constrained upgradeability put a damper on what is otherwise a well-priced, reasonably quick machine that can tackle apps and older games.
