Purchased for my mom.

Took about 8 hours to set the system up out of the box between windows updates and the upgrade to 8.1 plus the removal of bloatware. Once that was done, this thing runs great. My mom was very happy with it. She even likes Windows 8.1, as the XP support...

Quick, quiet, very nice pc - especially at this price point

upgrading to 8.1 killed the wireless, had to manually revert to the 8.0 driver (the realtek, not the lenovo version) to get it working again

You get what you pay for

It's the last of this brand that I'll buy.

It works

Keyboard has a function key where the control key is usually located in lower left corner. External eject button for DVD is not readily accessible

My First i7

This is my first intel i7. I also have an AMD A8 apu that I use for video editing and final rendering. The intel i7 is 3 times faster. On my AMD computer it would take abouit an hour to render 20 minutes of HD video. On the i7 about 20 minutes to...

Fast i7 cpu. 8gb ram. Great price and value

Windows 8.1, no USB 3.0, no wifi, intergrated graphics card, no windows 8 disk, some bloatware

Quality Machine

Lenovo makes a good product. Very satisfied with mine. Quiet, fast, plenty of hard disk.

Memory, hard drive, intel processor are all nice. Rare to see a 2TB machine of any sort. I actually have the H535 with AMD A-10 processor but the general configuration is the same. All pcs generally have more power than they need these days. After...

If you drop the disk to 1TB you can have an Intel I7 for $680 in the same brand form factor. Upgrading to current Windows 8.1 update takes a long, long time

Fine Machines, just misrepresented

It's important to have accurate descriptions so loyal customers don't get peeved to high hell when they are having difficulties locating the wireless chipset that doesn't even exist on this model.

Fast enough, cheap enough

Very proprietary. I stripped them all of their Windows8 heresy and loaded the machines up with Win7. It was less straight forward than other projects. Funky Bios ; New Egg states these machines come equipped with onboard WLAN. They do not

So Far...So Good

Just got my Lenovo installed and am using it for the 2nd day today. I am very happy w/the quality and will be even happier when I learn the new Windows System. It was a good purchase at a great price. Fast, and a good replacement for an old computer....

Good Value

Bought as Xmas gift for my 81 year young Mom. Upgraded to Windows 8.1 to get the "Boot to Desktop" feature - this upgrade broke the wireless driver, but this was no issue for me because I didn't plan to use the wireless. The Desktop Mode makes it close...

Overall the pc is well laid out, lacks a little in video card and power supply. I got it hooked it up backed up the recovery partition on a 16 gig flash drive then blew away win 8 and put on 7 ultimate surprisingly Lenovo has all the win 7 drivers on...
