Lenovo IdeaCentre A520 review

A good all-in-one PC with lots of ports, but its lacklustre display and aging hardware hold it back

The Lenovo IdeaCentre A520 is a decent low-end all-in-one PC, but its aging hardware and lacklustre display feel like one too many compromises compared to the faster and only marginally more expensive Best Buy-winning Toshiba Qosmio PX30t-A-11C.

Like the ability to assign limits to children who will be using this computer. Can limit their time and hours. Awesome tool. Like the large screen and the touch capability. Great computer for our family

Lenovo IdeaCentre A520 All-in-one

If the bad point did not exist this would be a very good computer. If you like Windows 8/8.1 you get all the benefits

The touch screen is likely to be faulty. I bought this pc and the touch screen starts to click itself automatically. I returned the pc to the retailer and they could not replicate the problem so they sent it back to me. Soon after that the problem...

Lenovo IdeaCentre A520 All-in-one

I am delighted with this PC. Screen is great. Massive improvement in speed from my old XP machine. We have installed Office 2013. Love the touch screen and Windows 8. Still learning what we can do.

The PC came with a free trial of Nitro Pro 7 (a PDF package). This was known by Lenovo to prevent Windows 8 from updating, sending it into a 45 minute loop where it failed to install any updates....
