Lenovo IdeaCentre B305 40311PU (Athlon II X4, 2.20GHz)

This $949 variation of Lenovo's 21.5-inch IdeaCentre B305 is a reasonable effort at a sub-$1,000, multimedia-oriented all-in-one desktop. We might even recommend it if it weren't for the growing number of 23-inch all-in-ones in the same price range. A...

Low-end gaming capability and strong HD video playback thanks to discrete graphics card

Underfeatured for its price; slow general performance; no HDMI input

Lenovo's 21.5-inch IdeaCentre B305 is a mainstream home entertainment all-in-one that can't quite overcome its small screen and underwhelming features. You might have interest in this system if you want a self-contained budget gaming PC, but it has...

Lenovo's New Monolith Is an All-Powerful Immovable...

Is Lenovo's newest all-in-one PC powerful? Yes. Cheap? Mmm hmm. Easily portable? Oh my, no.

More than capable, with eyebrow-arching performance. Sophisticated design and a full passel of features. Even includes the TV remote

Touchscreen tech has taken its toll on screen brightness. No real touchscreen features built in. Concerns about tipping over (forward)

Lenovo IdeaCentre B305

The system comes with a 640GB, 7,200rpm hard drive, which is better than the 500GB capacity of rivals, but I'd like to see at least 750GB on a TV tuner-equipped model, since those users are more likely to record shows. HD shows notoriously take up lots...

Compact all-in-one. Discrete 3D graphics. Multi-touch screen. 1080p HD panel. HDTV tuner. Wall mount

Uses IR dongle for remote. Office 2007 Trial. No Blu-ray. Wireless keyboard and mouse optional. No HD inputs aside from Tuner. Tinny speakers

The Lenovo IdeaCentre B305 comes loaded with plenty of forward-looking technology: touchscreen, 3D graphics, HDTV tuner. It's a decent multimedia-oriented PC, with a price below $1,000.

Lenovo IdeaCentre B305 (40311PU)

This all-in-one PC is an average midrange model with a 1080p screen and a TV tuner, but it gets thoroughly outclassed by at least one major-maker competitor.

21.5-inch LCD with multi-touch support; smooth 1080p HD playback; runs quietly

No Blu-ray or HDMI; advantages of the quad-core CPU won't be felt by mainstream users; bundled keyboard is poor

Double your display real estate by adding a second monitor. It's a snap: Here's how

Very nice all in one unit

My family has had this all in one for about a year now. It has been prbolem free and totally reliable. Windows 7 works great. One of the really great things is wireless and Bluetooth - no cable - no wires. Power cord only. Just one drawback is...

Great Computer

As I write this review, I've had this computer for 4 months, and I absolutely love it. 4 months ago, my HP Pavillion desktop decided it was time to give up on me, so I needed something new. I was looking for a new brand because I've had bad luck with...

Surprising use of a touchscreen.

We needed a computer that was a good all around PC - the central home for all our pictures, something for our kid's pre-school games, email, simple word docs - nothing fancy like hardcore gaming, Photoshoping, or video editing. I wanted the price to be...

Awesomw Desktop

I wasn't expecting to be so pleased. The picture is great and setup was a snap. I had a problem with the Bluetooth keyboard, but a phone call to service was another pleasant surprise. They sent a new keyboard the same day and I received it the...
