Lenovo ThinkCentre m57p ECO

The ThinkCentre M57p's compact black metal case measures just 3.2 by 10.8 by 9.2 inches (HWD). It could even sit in a bracket mount (available from Lenovo) behind a standard LCD monitor, effectively turning it into an all-in-one PC. The system's...

System is very good for what it was purchased for a Sr citizen to Surf the internet and play card games online.

Would give a 5 star except system did not have all the memory as advertised, it only has 2GB. Which is the only reason it was purchased over some of the other choices. would hope Newegg will rectify that issue.

broken cpu heatsink bracket

i bought this to make a small pfsense box i was easily able to slot a quad port intel nic in the pcie x16 slot and was pleasantly surprised to find the on board nic was also intel gigabit, traded the 80gb hard drive for two 320gb and add 2gb more ram...

small compact easy to open fully working system once repaired (see cons) 4 slots for 1.8v ddr2 ram and 1 x pcie x16 slot on board intel gigabit nic

my unit came with a broken cpu heatsink bracket specifically the clip that holds down the retention arm for the cpu heatsink. once i got the case out of the box i open it up to find the heatsink loose and rotated in place inspection yielded that there...

the best budget computer

put in an MSI 5450 HD pcie2.0 video card and works pretty well. Low-end gaming and high end video. be sure to use pcie 2.0 as 2.1 requires higher watt which would be too much for this power supply.

I needed a low-budget computer and this one fit my price quite nicely. I give it 4 eggs 'cause I consider value for the money and for what I spent it's definitely worth 4 eggs

It' can use several upgrades but I hate calling those cons because I knew what I was buying and what I was paying I wouldn't have expected those upgrades to be included. In time I'll add an SSD and upgrade to 2g ram sticks

No bugs on me

I bought this thinkcenter For a separate computer for the internet so it would not corrupt my primary computer. I have had some issues with it but nothing major. Mow I can work on my primary computer without concern about inter net trash

Lenovo ThinkCentre M57P

The Intel Management Engine BIOS was interesting (!?). The unit's previous life apparently was in a corporate environment where IT managed desktops. Maybe Powershell would provide some BIOS settings?

A very nice small foot-print desktop for everyday use. Installed Windows 8.1, for testing and education, and works well. The unit comes with Intel Management Engine BIOS, which was new to me. At startup press F1 for some setup utilities, or F12 for...

Misadvertised OS Specs

The physical system was in quite good condition. No scratches or other damage to the case or interior

I really like Lenovo desktops as they are very substantial, some might say heavy. There are other advantages, but in this case, Newegg seems to have lost control of the accuracy of their advertising. The operating system was described as a 32 bit...

Better than expected

I kept the quiet, slower one. Might not be a perfect machine but it is stable and works well. I didn't want to chance getting another one that wasn't as good. I will update when the other on comes in.

Works well as a front desk PC for my small business ; Great for web surfing and simple tasks ; My son plays online kids games without any problems ; Case is in perfect condition ; Works as advertised

Bought two of these. One was noticeably faster and responsive. The faster one was having an issue where the CPU fan was running 100% and was very loud. Flashed the BIOS, did some other remedies that didn't work. Called the Refurb company and they did...
