Lenovo ThinkCentre M57 (6072-ADM)

Red and black are back. The Lenovo ThinkCentre M57 (6072-ADM) uses Lenovo's standard form factor chassis, unlike the small form factor ThinkCentre A61e we reviewed recently, and dons the tried and tested black and red colour scheme. It isn't a great...

e-SATA and legacy ports, tool-free chassis ;

Mid-range performance, little to no upgrade potential ;

In our benchmarks it performed with expectedly mid-range results. Although the E6550 is a good CPU, it's not running at a high default frequency. In WorldBench 6 it scored just 75, which will suffice for the average swathe of tasks like word processing...

Great inexpensive workstation!

I was prepared to buy this computer just to get the software but am pleasantly surprised with the quality and function of this PC as a workstation in my warehouse.

Clean, ready to go. Installed software (Win 7 and Office Home/Student) make this a GREAT value!

Gross.

I expected more for refurbished - more than just loading a fresh copy of Windows on the thing. It even had a 250gb SATA hard drive in it originally from a Dell Equalogic - how ancient must that drive be? I'm using it for a very small FreeNAS server, so...

Cheap. Functional. Comes with a copy of Windows for less than the price of Windows. Built like a tank.

Disgusting. Barely "refurbished". Not even cleaned, full of office fuzz and gunk that had to be cleaned out. Front panel and case is beat up.

Good machine. Great price

I bought this on sale for about $95 [and free shipping] and also got a $20 rebate which was available at the time. I do virtual work and needed a machine that had minimal features but would work well. This machine and a 23" refurbished monitor work...

All components worked out of the box ; Great price

Not a lot of options for upgrading
