low power, super capable, great size

this is an awesome nettop if you max out the ram and throw in a broadcom for limitless hd video watching. smaller and way more powerful than the FOXCONN R10-S4 i had before, but is probably just as energy efficient.

can handle hd video well on its own with onboard video. handles any video you throw at it if you add a broadcom crystal card. 1080p with this addon is no problem. takes upto 4gb memory (and all four is noticeably faster than just 2). very sleek,...

no vents on top of the unit, no matter how you stand it up. not a big deal, since i dont think it really gets hot anyway. i just like the idea of air escaping naturally through top vents

Beautiful Machine

I would like to build this same machine for under $400.

This is a beautiful and great performing computer I installed a Bluray combo drive, 2 GB of RAM, a 500 GB hard drive, and Windows 7 ; It runs silent and cool. With the HDMI out, it is a great HTPC. I prefer it over a barebones with ION graphics

Graphics are good but not good enough for a gamer. My final cost was $460 which I think is a little too high for what I got

Great mid-line HTPC solution. Minimum additional purchase is the RAM. You could perform a network or live boot from CD/USB and be set. The tight space required for the compact case may cause difficulties for an average user.

Purchased as the system for an HTPC. Extremely short form factor to fit our small TV stand space of about 3.75". Installed XBMC and the ATI proprietary drivers to great success. Quickly accessed the Windows Share of TV Shows and began cataloging. HDMI...

As noted by another reviewer, *WILL NOT RUN ON DDR2 533 SO-DIMM*. I made the mistake of buying the wrong RAM and the system would not post. Replacing with DDR2 667 SO-DIMM solved the problem right away. 720p doesn't run flawlessly, and I assume 1080p...

Excellent thin client on Ubuntu

We haven't messed with improving the video driver over the default, since our office environment isn't graphically demanding. We get 1080p by default on 23" monitors. Flash stutters a little at full screen, but not sure if that is driver or...

These barebones boxes work great as a thin client connected to LTSP on Ubuntu 10.04. No configuration needed to get dual monitors working off any 2 of the 3 connectors. Add a memory chip and configure the BIOS to network boot, and you're done

DVI connector is DVI-D, so cannot use VGA adaptor for 2 VGA monitors

Wrong mem specs

Win7 works fine, Ubuntu works fine, XBMC hates ATI video.

Smalll quiet box. HDMI

Mem specs are WRONG !! Will not work with DDR2 533 as advertised. 1 egg off for Newegg, 1 egg off for ATI video

Great little system!

Quite pleased overall. Looking forward to more Intel Atom based systems to hit the market. It's a really great option for always-on systems.

Loaded this up with 4GB of Crucial RAM, a Plextor PX-880SA DVD-RW drive and a Corsair Force F60 SSD ; Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit installed with no issues. Running Office 10, Firefox, AVG, Live Mail, dBpoweramp Ripper, iTunes, etc. all at the same time...

It's not "quite" as snappy as I would like at full utilization but for the price and power utilization, I can hardly complain about a few microseconds of lag if I switch apps while the processor is pegged
