Great value machine

Hard to beat at this price. Hard disk is 7200RPM (instead of 5000RPM typically in economy PCs). Gig ethernet. Great transition machine for us to get off our XP machines. Windows 7 Pro lets us run old apps in an XP Pro virtual machine (that's included...

Good speed, set for dual VGA displays, plenty of RAM, not pre-loaded with lots of promo-ware, Win 7 Pro gives you Windows XP compatibility mode to run old XP apps, good warranty

No manuals (shouldn't be a problem for experienced users)

New desktop

I received this machine within two days it had everything I needed loaded on it plus. It is fast and haven't had any problems in the time we have had it on the network.

Good value for a good machine

I needed a computer to replace a failing machine in our office. This machine was a very good value for what I needed. It gave me plenty of processor for an office job and the 64-bit operating system will allow for future memory upgrades. The small form...

great value

I just bought 26 of these for various users. So far I have been happy. They are a pretty small form factor, plenty fast, even with just an i3, and seem to be assembled well. Time will tell on the reliability, but I have had good luck with HP in the past.

Good machine, for a home system. I have a feeling that these should be able to last awhile without any hardware problems.

That woudl actually be a four core processor. i7 doesn't even come in oct. Good machine, but for home users. More of an awesome media and gaming rig than for business use.

HP Compaq Pro 4300

This computer is a beast. 8 core processor, 16GB RAM, 2TB hard drive. Excellent graphics card. My only issue that I have with this computer, is that the fan kicks on a lot and is very noisy. Going to look at the BIOS and see if I can turn it down.

HP Compaq Pro 4300

Core i7-2600 3.4 GHz, 16GB RAM, 160GB SSD, Win7 64 bit. Paid about $1,800. Loads every program in about 1 second. Outlook maybe 5 seconds. Running multiple VMs for website development no sweat. I love it.

Love the 6 cores. Lots of RAM. Great performance. So far these have been really good machines for our developers.
