Second time back

 

It is going back a second time. Same problem that happened in October.Gateway appears to have major problems with their hard drive supplier. Reliability of Gateway is very poor. I will not purchase another Gateway product.

What can I say it has everything you could ask of a computer, and yes I am computer savoy so I do know the flaws, such as if there is something to go wrong or break it isn't very easy to get to the problem. Aside from that to all of the non believers...

Great for the kids

 

Bought a ZX6971 from Best Buy about a 2 months ago on sale for $500 and change. Needed an extra computer for the kids (12 & 9) who were spending too much time on mom & dad's PC.

Died after 3 months

 

Loved it while it worked. It appears the hard disk failed . Support said mail it to the repair center at MY expense. Said repair will take 7-10 days. We shall see.Support from Gateway has been helpful by email, prompt response so far.

The computer comes with very little instructions. Gateway help line was hard to get on, and the tech. seemed uninformed about the computer. Computer died in less than 1 year. the replacement had no audio, and tech said I needed out side computer...
