Origin Chronos

The compact Origin Chronos raises the bar on high-end gaming desktops, showing that you don't necessarily need a massive tower PC to dominate on the game grid.

Excellent gaming performance. Eight US 3.0 ports. No Bloatware. Origin-branded Razer keyboard and mouse. Lots of storage.

No internal expansion room. Back gets warm during gaming sessions.

Origin Chronos

The ; offers best-in-class gaming performance in a tidy, overclocked package.

Despite the Chronos' nice variety of options, gamers using multiple monitors will want to look for a system with room for multiple graphics cards.

The Origin Chronos shows the strength of small boutique vendors with a fast, affordable, and compact little desktop that I can recommend to any PC gamer.

Origin Chronos Review

The Origin Chronos was an early bet on which system would be the fastest here, as we've seen what other vendors can do in Silverstone's fabulous FT03 case.

Fast and sexy, with a small foot print to boot

Extremely noisy under gaming loads

And that’s just a shame. Because, like the AVADirect, Origin’s is a majorly fast system that costs even less than the Falcon Northwest FragBox. But it’s just too damn noisy for us to recommend it.

Within a week of use I was getting a blue screen of death on one of the machines. I called Origin and tech support diagnosed it as a bad stick of ram right away. They replaced all of the ram, not just the bad stick. It shipped very quickly and...

Long lead time, it was a month before they shipped.

Fast computer at a reasonable price. Very helpful sales staff. Excellent support staff. Small form factor. My wife was impressed by the packaging, they were shipped in wooded crates.
