Foxconn R30-G4 Supports 65W for Intel Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Duo processors Intel Socket T(LGA775) Intel G41 Intel GMA X4500 Barebone

If it was still in stock, I'd recommend

I've really enjoyed this purchase. Small body, easy to work with, still relatively light

It is a tight squeeze. Everything fit with just a bit of managing. It does run a little warm with stock intel fan

Not bad

Don't try to use a large cpu fan if you want to use a dvd drive. The hard drive mounts upside down on the bottom but works good.

Good price and decent features. Good for a media center. Its a good home for a core2 or quad for its retirement. Great for doing surfing and office reports on the big screen while watching P.I.P tv

Only one dimm? Honey, where's the chassis fan

nice little package

Built an entire setup with all new parts for under $250.

standard 3.5" HD fits fine, sideways under the optical drive ; standard optical drive fits fine ; everything worked first time I hit the power button ; optical drive door/flap works well ; includes a stand ; blue power light and red HDD light look...

front panel is fragile, but fine if you are careful ; the optical drive I hoped to reuse was 1/8" too long to fit with a stock Intel E3300 fan cage ; the glossy front panel, while attractive, will be impossible to keep looking nice ; the thin case...

I didn't have any problems with it....

It went together like a wooden chinese jigsaw ball - very tight, but everything (just barely) fit. My Build: - Foxconn R30-G4 - Pentium Dual Core E6500 2.93GHz 65W 2MB L2 Wolfdale with stock cooler+Arctic Silver. - G-Skill 2GB DDR2-800 5-5-5-15...

inexpensive ; comes basically assembled, throw in a processor, memory and some drives and it's done ; small and not bad lookin ; 250W power supply ; includes all appropriate hardware (short SATA cables, angle adapter, etc) ; Has a PCI-E 16X slot ;...

flimsy metal drive carrier and plastic front trim tabs ; VERY tight; don't expect to make a mini-monster gaming system with this ; No digital monitor output unless you install your own ; only 1 PCI-E 1X slot, no PCI slots ; no EIDE, can't recycle an...

Foxconn's Little Gem

Other than that, performs very well! I will probably use it as an Archival-Server/Media and for I-net access.

Good "Bang for the buck" well priced, cute little dual core atom. Runs Mac OS great. A good replacement for my aging Mac G4. It has plenty of USBs. Quietly operates at low temperatures. 4 cores w/ HT enabled. Nice retro VCR design case, like the size....

Small, not much upgrade-ability, wish there was firewire though that's alright.. although it's not what I need it for. The Front of the case is a little difficult to remove and may cause damage to delicate plastic thingys so be careful

a little too small

small footprint, supports core2. decent design

you really can't fit much in there. a standard hard drive does not fit AT ALL. you would need a laptop HD. Same goes with a CD/DVD

good value / low power

I used this to build to build an Untangle Server (network security and content filtering). Everything went together easily, installed the OS, put it in the network, and haven't had to touch it since. What else do you want. Handles my home/SOHO network...

Everything worked as advertised and as expected. It was well built and easier to install components in than I expected, once I read the directions

Had to use an adaptor to mount a 2.5 inch HDD, which I don't understand given the size and compact nature of this box. (to be fare, it isn't advertised as having a 2.5 inch mount, so no deduction)

Nice barebones system

Small form factor. Powerful enough for small file/print/web server. The Dual-core, hyperthreaded Atom processor performs well. Driver install was easy. Standard 3.5 HDD installs in an unorthodox position but if you read the instructions, it's nor a...

The remote latch that controls the CD drive is a bit sticky at times - sending the CD drive into an eject/reload frenzy
