Small noisy fans

Other report other issues on the ASUS forum and consider too how ASUS handle them. I would carefully review those before buying.

None for me, I sold it right away as this item can't be returned back to newegg

It has small fans that are by design running full throttle. Not suitable to be placed on the desk as the small format would suggest

Really bad

I'll never buy recertified items from Newegg again.

I earlier rated and gave it a 4 star. But, it started malfunctioning since then. Now it does not stay on for more than 5 mins. Really bad experience

Works well after some initial hurdles

I initially had two major problems with this PC: it would hang at Windows login if I set the video resolution to 1366x768; and it would hang intermittently when I used the built in wireless. Both problems went away after upgrading to the latest Intel...

Small, inexpensive, great value for the money. Almost perfect as an HTPC

Somewhat louder than I hoped, comes preinstalled with problematic drivers that need updating

Nice little system

vey nice system, good configuration and connectivity

Nothing much, because it's refurbished, doesn't come with keyboard

Sleek and Small

Very small form factor, Nice features for the price, with HDMI, Firewire and wireless built in. I would say this little guy would satisfy the needs of most family computer needs. While a refurb, my unit was packaged well and looked and performs as new

Refurb unit, does not come with Keyboard or mouse. You do not have Windows 7 upgrade privileges like most new units have now

Not a bad little brick!!

Let's see.... 2.2GHZ dual core, 4GB RAM, 640GB HDD, GigE *and* 802.11n, firewire, spdif, hdmi, and a ton of usb... $300. Exactly what are you complaining about? It seems like a worthy machine, small enough to tuck away anywhere, powerful enough for...

It's a brick. It's small, quiet, pretty dense, and has about every interface you could imagine. It scores a 3.8 on the Vista Experience Meter - limited by gaming graphics (go figure), but everything else is in the 5s and 6s. Haven't tried XP, but I...

It's not real servicable as the internals are pretty much custom. It's dense, but it has several fans both to pull air in and exhaust it. I'm not fond of "slot loaders" but there are an awful lot of them out there so I'm not worried about them being...
