Exactly What I Needed

I needed a cheap PC to run my home weather station and backup software. This fit the bill, esp since I wanted to stick with XP due to the weather station. This unit fit the bill perfectly. I also picked up faster lan card (Intel PWLA8391GT 10/ 100/...

Decent price for a decent computer ; Comes with a CD for Windows XP SP3 (for Refurbished PCs) with no extra unwanted software. (IE, it does not come with AOL and all that other 'free' software we love to hate.) ; No stress way to get a working good...

It was a little dusy outside (but the inside was clean as a whistle) ; Not the latest and greatest technology (but you know that going in) ; Minimal RAM and HD capacity. I upgraded ; No manual

My mother has been using a computer she bought in 1999. Lately it kept powering down for no reason, was extremely slow, and make loud other-worldy sounds. I've been telling her for a year now to get a new computer to no avail. My friend was supposed to...

Runs MUCH better than the computer it's replacing. Although it isn't powerful, I bought it for my mom so she can play pogo and check e-mail and it's perfect for that use. Fast delivery

Damaged case. Crud on capacitors (however, there doesn't seem to be any electrical problems yet). FILTHY insides.... FULL of dust and dust bunnies ; ONLY HALF THE RAM AS ADVERTISED. That is a HUGE no-no. But, 256 is more than enough for this computer's...

Good for the money, wrong specs

I would have given it a higher rating if it arrived as advertised.

Cheap. Seems to run well. Decent enough specs for a low-end user

Computer only came with 256MB of RAM despite specs saying 512. Inside of case was pretty dirty. My guess is that they got these back and just did a quick system diagnostic to see if it works, as they certainly didn't seem to open the case

It's good at what it's meant to do...

This system is great for what it's meant for - very low usage, perfect for kids. It's not going to run any high end software but will do a good job at running low intensive games, checking e-mail and browsing the web.

Simple design and setup, Windows XP Professional and easily upgradeable

CD tray didn't come out until I gave it a little nudge

The one I got does NOT work!

Hopefully I just got a bad apple. I got a RMA and am hoping the new system will be better. I am upset that I have to wait to get a new one because I am going to give this away as a gift for my daughter's birthday and now she will have to wait.

Not a bad system for the money. Slick little case that is easy to open

System arrived not in working condition. The BIOS said the settings needed to be saved and that the battery may need to be replaced. I replaced the battery and it still says the same thing ; The cd rom door wont open at all ; The inside is absolutely...

Decent Little PC

If you're looking for a dev/testing PC, or even a small one for kids, then this is a great one to use

Great little PC for testing if you don't want to do virtual machines. Ran Win7 RC surprisingly well with 768MB RAM, 80GB HDD and the onboard 64MB Intel video

Obviously couldn't run Aero with the Intel video, not really a con though considering how old this thing is
