Great PC for the money

I bought this as a replacement for my older dell dual core machine and the difference is very noticeable. I suggest upgrading the video card as I did. With a decent video card you can even game on this thing! Windows Rated: 7.1 cpu 7.1 ram 6.7 for...

For what your paying for, This system is great! I couldn't be more happier with my purchase. Quad core Intel chip. 8gb of ram. Very quiet and fast machine

cheap graphics. small case. no re installation disks

Nice System

I love the Core 2 Quad. Got it shipped to me real fast. Perfect condition when it arrived.

Very good system for the money. I found it to be fast, but coming from a Pentium 4 might be the reason! But it is doing all I need it to do. I formatted and installed Window 7 Pro and it is working great with it

Not real expandable due to lack of slots but that is not a real negative to me

A decent rig

My wife wanted a computer she could game on, so I got this for her. When I threw in my old graphics card it runs all the newest games just fine. Actually it loads a lot faster than my $1000+ rig, which is kind of embarrassing...

Cheap. Can't say much more than that. To try and build this from parts would cost you a good chunk more, plus the software

Graphics are awful, but you're not paying for a gaming rig

Okay for the price

I got this mainly for my kids to do their schoolwork with. I dropped a video card into the one open PCI-E slot, the PNY GeForce GT 220 1024 MB PCI-Express 2.0 DVI with HDMI and VGA Graphics Card, which noticeably sped up the graphics. This card does...

For what you are spending, and I can't emphasize that enough, FOR WHAT YOU ARE SPENDING, this is a fairly good deal. It does have 8GB of RAM, albeit slow RAM, and a Core 2 Quad chip. Very quiet machine, but then again there is not a lot going on in...

Components are for the most part cheap (hence the price). The case is lightweight and small, the RAM is slim-card and not what you would call "robust," and it lacks a decent video card (built-in graphics). The DVD drive makes all kinds of noise when...

Not A Bad Deal

All in all a good deal for the money, would have been better with disks and free freight. it has the right stuff for most people, and with a good video card added would make a not to bad gamer rig. or as is a great office computer as is. I would buy...

You could not build one for this price with the software and all ; It is a Quad Core Intell and the bord is made by asus. It has all the right stuff you would need to get started computing! and you can get the windows 7 Upgrade for free

Ok here We go ! It does NOT come with software Disks! you have to make them from the computer. have had other hp products and they came with the windows disks. i think with out them is a cheap way to go minus one egg

Legit Deal

Got it here 72 hours after ordering which is always nice. I put this one in my living room to use as a guest computer/media player. I plan on upgrading a few components (video card, HDD, WLAN). It is a pretty good jumping off point to make a more...

This PC is good for the money paid, especially because it is an HP. The 2.3 Quad is nice, and I haven't had any hang ups with the 8 GB of Ram. Lightscribe is going to be a big plus this time around. It has a 300W power supply so it will take a nice...

All of the cons are more a manufacturers construction than anything Newegg has to do with ; Only 2 USB on the front ; Integrated graphics (VGA only) ; Only 1 PCI express x16 expansion slot available ; 640GB pretty small for the price ; PS2 Mice and...
