Excellent PSU

I know this may not matter to most, but this PSU is also really good looking. I bought it to replace the failing clear PSU in my clear case. I was quite impressed at the look of the PSU - its a glossy dark gray.

This PSU works wonderfully. I've had it running 24-7 for over a month, and I've had absolutely no problems. Also, I was pleasantly surprised at how quite the fan is. Power tests are all sufficient and it seems quality built. Would definitely recommend...

The only con I can think of is that 500W may not be enough power for some applications, but it works perfectly for what I need it for. I may need to upgrade in the future, but

Rosewill RP500 500W ATX12V v1.3/ EPS12V Power Supply

Rosewill's support in China had to ask the engineers if the unit had a revision. Reason I bought it was for 8 Molex and 2 SATA. I didn't need 4 SATA. Now I have to buy SATA to Molex adapters to make up the difference. Floppy's are wired with the Molex...

Price. I read a few reviews of this model and the rp500-2, that state the voltage is very stable and consistent at load

My first DOA unit matched the pics and description, my RMA unit was totally different. Had to inquire Rosewill. I assumed I had the wrong model or mismatched spec sticker. The 12v rail was important to me, so I needed to know what PSU I had. As you can...

Fried

Needless to say I'll stay away from Rosewill power supplies.

Nice finish, nice price and looks good

Fried 2 of my motherboards. Replaced the first with a spare board, booted up and then it died. I was a Rosewill buyer until this happened. This actually replaced another Rosewill power supply that died. I also had a third Rosewill power supply that died

Rosewill RP500 500W ATX12V v1.3/ EPS12V Power Supply

Is it this difficult to get a product the way it's supposed to be designed? How the heck can someone assemble this and put on the wrong connectors? Emailed tech support, Taiwan, they have no sample to compare so they are clueless. I spoke to Rosewill...

This one actually works when I tested it

Connectors are wrong when assembled? The first one was DOA but the connectors matched what is supposed to be on the power supply. The new one I just received yesterday does not have an 8 pin connector or a separate 4 pin for P4 boards, instead has 2...

Powers My system like a champ

None in about a year now

Amazing!

Buy it if your not running SLI, it only has 1 6-pin connector

Everything! I have owned this PSU for 3 years+ and iths been through two of my builds. It delivers more than enough power and looks sharp. Started out in a 939 system and recently went into a AM2+ system. Powers my 9800GTX and the 6000+ with ease....

None what so ever

Rosewill RP500 500W ATX12V v1.3/ EPS12V Power Supply

Before I installed it I decided to run a paper clip test. Powered it on and it ran for less than a second and shut down. Hooked it up to an old PC that works, the CMOS light lit up, but when I powered up the PC, it turned on again for less than a...

Don't know it's DOA

It's DOA. Paying shipping to get it and return it defeats the purpose of getting it online and at NewEggs price

Nice and shiny

It works well and has all the connectors I needed. One thing you can't tell from the pictures on newegg is how shiny it is. It's kind of silly to care about stuff like that, especially since it's going to be inside your PC anyway, but it's still kinda...

I guess it would be nice if it had more Sata power connectors. Modular cables would be nice too, but no power supply in this price range has those

O.o COOL!

cool light, simple as pie installation,

I bought this because my comp needed more power for the hardware i was using in it. It was also running a bit hotter with the increased hardware load. This Rosewill RP500 Powersupply obliderated my power problems and lowered my case temperature readout...

500 watts aint what you need for the future of computing, but is fine for upgrades, loads and loads and loads of cords. more than i need and more than i could ever imagine using. Good thing for somepeople though so not really a con

stable

I've had this PSU for 2 years and it's working great. I keep it cleaned and never turn my computer off unless it's being cleaned. It's under heavy load all the time. I have 3 WD 80gig HDD, a 7800gt card with a Zalman cooler on it, 4 80mm fans, and a...

Nice PSU. Very quiet, and the light is cool. Cables are long enough to reach all through my Lian Li case and there's plenty left over

None
